The color filter has a first thickness in an area corresponding to the first electrode and a second thickness in an area corresponding to the second electrode, and the first thickness is larger than the second thickness. Accordingly, a cell gap of the electrowetting display apparatus is reduced, and color reproducibility of the electrowetting display apparatus is improved without sacrificing brightness.

Non-volatile storage elements having a P−/metal floating gate are disclosed herein. The floating gate may have a P− region near the tunnel oxide, and may have a metal region near the control gate. A P− region near the tunnel oxide helps provide good data retention. A metal region near the control gate helps to achieve a good coupling ratio between the control gate and floating gate. Therefore, programming of non-volatile storage elements is efficient. Also, erasing the non-volatile storage elements may be efficient. In some embodiments, having a P− region near the tunnel oxide (as opposed to a strongly doped p-type semiconductor) may improve erase efficiency relative to P+.

More particularly, the present invention provides a water controller system constructed such that water generated from a cathode of the direct methanol fuel cell system and carbon dioxide and an unreacted methanol solution generated from an anode of the direct methanol fuel cell system are introduced into the water controller system, the carbon dioxide is discharged out of the water controller system, and the methanol solution is circulated to the corresponding electrode so as to reuse the methanol solution, and a fuel cell system including the water controller system. The water controller system for fuel cells according to the present invention has the effects of reusing water and an unreacted methanol solution discharged from the fuel cell, minimizing the amount of methanol evaporated and discharged, and accurately controlling the water level of the water controller.

The present invention relates to a novel strain, Rhodococcus erythropolis LG12, having acrylic acid degrading activity and resistance to acrylic acid, and a method for removing acrylic acid from acrylic acid-containing contaminants using the same. The strain according to the invention has not only acrylic acid degrading activity but also resistance to a high concentration of acrylic acid thus will be useful to remove acrylic acid from acrylic acid-containing contaminants.
