    摘要: A solid laser apparatus has either a combination of a lowpass filter (9c) and a highpass filter (9d) or a bandpass filter 9f provided in its output control circuit (8, 9, 10) for increasing the gain and adjusting the phase of a signal in the vicinity of the relaxation oscillating frequency. Also, a solid laser apparatus has the phase shift circuit (9g) provided in its output control circuit (8,9,10) for advancing the phase of a signal in the vicinity of the relaxation oscillating frequency thereof. Moreover, a solid laser apparatus has a pseudo notch filter (9h), which is arranged for the gain to have a local minimum at the relaxation oscillating frequency of the solid laser apparatus, provided in the output control circuit (8,9,10) so that the peak of the gain transmission characteristic of the nonlinear optical device (4) or of a combination of the nonlinear optical device (4) and the microchip laser crystal (3) is offset.

Then, a gas having a chemical reactivity with respect to a material of the etalon base plate is introduced into the process chamber, and a surface of the etalon base plate is etched for only a predetermined time corresponding to a thickness of the etalon base plate, thereby obtaining the etalon having a desired thickness.

    摘要: The transmittance of an etalon relative to an oscillating line having the wavelength of 1061.6 to 1062.2 nm by an Nd:YAG laser medium 3 is set to 0.9 or lower (the maximum value of the transmittance is 1.0). The oscillating line of the wavelength of 1061.6 to 1062.6 nm is damped by the etalon so that a peak corresponding thereto does not substantially appear in an outputted laser beam. Accordingly, a longitudinal mode can be preferably changed to a single mode and an output can be stabilized.
