Abstract: A method of removing from water at least one of algae, bacteria, toxins produced by algae, toxins produced by bacteria, and algae nutrients by placing an open-cell foam material into the water, leaving the material in the water for sufficient time to adsorb/absorb at least one of algae, their toxins, and their nutrients, and then removing the open-cell foam material from the water.

Abstract: Conventional schedulers employ designs allocating specific processor and memory resources, such as memory for configuration data, state data, and scheduling engine processor resources for specific aspects of the scheduler, such as layers of the scheduling hierarchy, each of which consumes dedicated processor and memory resources. A generic, iterative scheduling engine, applicable to an arbitrary scheduling hierarchy structure having a variable number of hierarchy layers, receives a scheduling hierarchy structure having a predetermined number of layers, and allocates scheduling resources such as instructions and memory, according to scheduling logic, in response to design constraints and processing considerations. The resulting scheduling logic processes the scheduling hierarchy in iterative manner which allocates the available resources among the layers of the hierarchy, such that the scheduler achieves throughput requirements corresponding to enqueue and dequeue events with consideration to the number of layers in the scheduling hierarchy and the corresponding granularity of queuing.

Abstract: A multipurpose golfer's tool is disclosed comprising a body and a divot repair tool slidably received within the body. The divot repair tool comprises a fork-like end and a distal end opposite the fork-like end. A cover is hingedly attached to the distal end and is positioned on the exterior of the body. The cover is easily manipulable to slide the divot repair tool from a retracted position within the body to an operating position. The cover also has a generally planar surface for imprinting indicia thereon. The tool further comprises a pencil sharpener mounted in the body, a detachable ball marker mounted on the body, and a club head groove cleaner mounted on the body.
