    摘要: An air cleaner unit for a vehicle includes an air cleaner element and an air cleaner housing to be arranged generally above ring portions of a fan shroud. The air cleaner element is disposed in the air cleaner housing such that a predetermined space is provided between a lower surface of the air cleaner element and an inner surface of a bottom wall of the air cleaner housing. The bottom wall of the air cleaner housing includes at least two arcuate portions to correspond to the ring portions of the fan shroud and a projecting portion between the arcuate portions. The projecting portion projects downwardly and is configured to increase the volume of the predetermined space.

The motor includes a motor portion and a motor shaft driven by and extending from the motor portion. The shroud has shroud ring portions each of which has a circular shape to cover an outer peripheral portion of the blower, and a shroud plate portion extending from the shroud ring portions to an outside. Furthermore, the fan shafts of the blowers are coupled to the motor shaft via a gear portion, and the motor portion is attached to the shroud plate portion to be offset from a center connection line connecting the centers of the shroud ring portions.

    摘要: Front edges 212b of blades 212 are so constituted as to be deviated toward the upstream side in the air stream beyond an axial end surface 211a, as viewed from a direction at right angles to the axial direction of a boss 211, and the blades 212 on the root side thereof are continuous to the axial end surface 211a through smoothly curved surfaces 213. This enables the air to flow from the side of the axial end surface 211a toward the root side of the blades 212. Due to the air flowing from the side of the axial end surface 211a to the root side of the blades 212, therefore, the resistance decreases between the air and the surfaces of the blades 212 on the root side, making it possible to suppress the occurrence of stalling on the root side of the blades 212. The air on the front side of the boss 211 is effectively guided toward the outer direction (toward the blades 212), preventing a drop in the flow rate and in the fan efficiency of a blower 200.
