    摘要: To a refrigerant circuit of an air conditioner as a refrigerating apparatus, a plurality of outdoor units are connected. In an operation state where the first outdoor unit is operated with the second outdoor unit stopped, the air conditioner performs refrigerant collection operation for collecting and retaining surplus refrigerant to and in a second outdoor heat exchanger of the second outdoor unit. During the refrigerant collection operation, a second outdoor expansion valve is closed fully, and a second outdoor fan is operated. Part of refrigerant discharged from a first compressor flows into the second outdoor heat exchanger during the refrigerant collection operation. The refrigerant flowing in the second outdoor heat exchanger dissipates heat to outdoor air to be condensed. Since the second outdoor expansion valve is closed fully, the condensed refrigerant is retained in the second outdoor heat exchanger.

The outdoor unit (20) and the indoor unit (30) constitute a main circuit (43) of a refrigerant circuit (40). A sub-circuit (70) whose one end is connected to a liquid line (4a) of the main circuit (43) and another end is connected to a low-pressure gas line (4b) of the main circuit (43), and which stores refrigerant in the main circuit (43) is also provided. The sub-circuit (70) is located on a sub-passageway (71), and includes: a refrigerant regulator (72) for storing refrigerant in the main circuit (43); and a switch mechanism (73) for establishing and blocking communication between the refrigerant regulator (72) and each of the liquid line (4a) and the low-pressure gas line (4b). When the amount of refrigerant in the main circuit (43) is excessive, redundant refrigerant in the main circuit (43) is stored in the refrigerant regulator (72).

    摘要: A system and method for enabling an audio conference server (ACS) to provide an application program with multi-point weight controllable audio conferencing. The ACS manages a plurality of audio conferences, receives audio data from a plurality of audio clients, mixes the audio data to provide distance-based attenuation according to decay characteristics for each sound, and delivers the mixed audio data to a plurality of audio clients. Audio clients include set-top box (STB) audio clients and point source audio (PSA) audio clients. The ACS mixes the audio data by identifying a decay factor. Pre-defined decay factors include an audio big decay factor, an audio small decay factor, an audio medium decay factor, and a constant decay factor. One can also develop a customized decay factor. A weighted value for a source audio client based on the identified decay factor and the distance between the source audio client and a target audio client is determined. A mix table is generated using the weighted values for each source/target audio client pair. Then an actual mix value for each target audio client is calculated using the mix table. The present invention also includes means for refining the actual mix value.

The client then receives a series of transform updates for the 3D model via a network. In response to the user commands, the server appropriately alters the series of transform updates streamed to the user, thereby providing interactivity to the 3D animation.
