Abstract:
A device for, in a gas turbine engine, braking a turbine including a rotor driving a shaft capable of rotating with respect to a stator in the event of said shaft breaking is disclosed. The device includes a first braking member provided with at least one abrasive element and a second braking member including a ring-shaped element (120A) made of a material capable of being eroded by the abrasive element. One of the two braking members being secured to the rotor and the other of the two braking members being secured to the stator. The braking members come into contact with one another through axial displacement of the rotor once the shaft has broken. The abrasive element of the first braking member eroding the ring-shaped element of the second braking member.

A device for, in a gas turbine engine, braking a turbine including a rotor, having at least one disk with a rim driving a shaft and capable of rotating with respect to a stator, is disclosed. The device is for the event of the shaft breaking and includes a first braking member, secured to the rim and provided with at least one cutting element, and a second braking member secured to the stator downstream of the rim and including a ring-shaped element made of a material that can be cut by the cutting element. The two braking members coming into contact with one another through axial displacement of the rotor once the shaft has broken. The cutting element of the first braking member cuts the ring-shaped element of the second braking member.
Abstract:
A twin-spool gas turbine engine including a high-pressure rotor and a low-pressure rotor, which rotors are mounted in bearings supported by an intermediate casing, at least one accessory gear box, and a drive device which drives radial and coaxial shafts for transmitting movement to the accessory gear box is disclosed. The drive device includes a high-pressure drive gear driving one of the radial shafts and connected to the high-pressure rotor and a low-pressure drive gear connected to the low-pressure rotor upstream of the high-pressure drive gear and driving the other of the radial shafts. The low-pressure drive gear is supported in the intermediate casing by an axial-positioning bearing.
Abstract:
A turbomachine such as an aircraft turbojet including an electrical generator/starter that can be mounted and dismounted by axial translation in an upstream enclosure of the turbomachine between the low-pressure compressor and the high-pressure compressor, and couple to electrical cables which extend inside the structural arms of the intermediate casing of the turbomachine.

Abstract:
A turbomachine rotor including at least one disk having a ring constituted, for example, by a winding of metal-coated silicon carbide or alumina yarn. According to the invention, the composite ring is received in a closed annular cavity, e.g. defining by machining a groove in an enlarged portion of the disk and closing the groove by means of an annular plate after the ring has been put into place.
Abstract:
Several embodiments of devices for intaking gases from the boundary layer through ducts (3, 4) hollowed out in blades (7) are disclosed. These embodiments are characteristic in that they are suitable for variable setting blades, installed on the stator (1) using pivots (8). The seal is maintained despite the variation in the relative position between the moving pivots (8) through which ducts pass, and the fixed intake header pipe (10).
Abstract:
A turbomachine having a longitudinal axis, the turbomachine comprising an annular rotor centered on the longitudinal axis of the turbomachine, an annular stator disposed coaxially around the rotor, at least one ball bearing disposed on the rotor and rotatably supporting said stator, the inside of the rotor defining part of an oil enclosure for cooling and lubricating the balls of the bearing, an electricity generator having a secondary magnetic circuit secured to the stator and a primary magnetic circuit constrained to rotate with the rotor, and a detector device for automatically detecting ferromagnetic particles in the oil enclosure, said detector device being powered electrically by electromagnetic induction.
Abstract:
A fan portion of a dual flow turbojet engine including a plurality of fan blades, a disk supporting the blades and configured to be rotated relative to a stator portion of the fan, along a longitudinal axis of the fan, and a system for setting the angle of attack associated with each fan blade, the systems configured such that the angle of attack of each blade varies according to a same setting law according to the angular position of the blade relative to the stator portion, along the longitudinal axis, the same setting law being periodic with a period of P=360°/n, where n is an integer at least equal to 1.
Abstract:
A rotary assembly for a turbomachine fan includes a disk rotatable about an axis; a plurality of blades fastened by their roots to the disk and extending radially outwards from the disk; and a plurality of inter-blade platforms, each extending between two adjacent blades and defining the inner profile for the flow section of the fluid passing through the fan. On their facing side faces, these adjacent blades present slides between which the platform can slide, these slides limiting outward radial movement of the platform.
