The present invention relates to a field coil assembly of an electromagnetic clutch for a compressor. The present invention comprises a core 210, and a coil 240 installed to the core 210 and formed by winding a unit wire 250. At this time, the unit wire 250 wound on the coil 240 is made of aluminum, and an area ratio R of an inner sectional area M of the core 210 to a cross-sectional area of the unit wire 250 is 400 to 640. According to the present invention as above, since the unit wire 250 used for the coil 240 is made of aluminum with a small specific weight and low price rather than copper, the weight of the field coil assembly 200 is decreased to improve fuel efficiency of a vehicle and decrease a production cost of the field coil assembly 200.

Disclosed is a field coil assembly of an electromagnetic clutch including a bobbin from which lead wires, which are both ends of a coil made of an aluminum-based material, protrude outward, a core that surrounds the bobbin such that the lead wires are exposed, a bobbin terminal installed at the bobbin while being adjacent to the lead wire of the coil, and a connector coupled to the core and including a lead wire terminal. The lead wires of the coil are connected to the bobbin terminal through heating and pressing.

The present invention relates to a sleeve connector for an electromagnetic clutch with a diode and a resistor for removing surge voltage and induced magnetic field generated from an electromagnetic clutch field coil assembly. According to the sleeve connector for an electromagnetic clutch of the present invention, an epoxy molding process that increases fabricating cost can be omitted, and also since the sleeve connector uses a holder for fixing each parts, it is prevented that each of the parts is deviated from its position during the plastic molding process.

In a power transmission apparatus for a compressor according to the present invention, a package of the compressor is reduced in size by shortening the longitudinal length of a one-way bearing while a predetermined level of transmission torque is sustained by optimizing the locations of the one-way bearing and a ball bearing module. Therefore, the mountability thereof can be improved. Also, the one-way bearing is disposed at an outer side from the ball bearing module in a radial direction so as to increase the number of rollers constituting the one-way bearing. Therefore, the transmission torque can be kept identically to that of the related art although the length of the one-way bearing is shortened.
