    摘要: An integrally formed cylinder 2 having alternating magnetic 2b, 2d and non-magnetic portions 2a, 2c, 2e for use in an injector. At least two solenoid coils 12, 14 are disposed about the cylinder 2 to urge an armature 4b to open and close a valve 4a. The non-magnetic portions 2a, 2c, 2e of the cylinder 2 ensure that magnetic paths for opening and closing the valve are magnetically insulated from each other. The integrally formed cylinder 2 is leak proof and thus does not require O-rings or other sealing structures for sealing the fuel path 4e, 4f from the solenoid coils 12, 14. A protrusion 2z may be formed on the cylinder 2 to assist in positioning the solenoid coils 12, 14.

    摘要: Fuel pump (10)comprises a casing (18) and an impeller (20). A group of concavities (20a) are formed in an upper or a lower face of the impeller. A groove (24) communicating a discharge hole (25) is formed in a inner face of the casing. The groove has an opening portion (27e) that directly communicates with the discharge hole. The opening portion is shaped so as to extend in the rotation direction of the impeller, within a span extending from a position corresponding to substantially the central position of the concavities of the impeller, in the radial direction thereof, to a position corresponding to substantially the outer peripheral edge of the concavities of the impeller. The opening portion is be formed so as to extend in the rotation direction of the impeller beyond the position (29b) where the inner peripheral edge connects therewith.

    摘要: A fuel pump may have an armature 16 and a pump section 10. The armature 16 may include a shaft 17, a core 21 fixed to the shaft 17, and coils 29 that is wound around the core 21. The pump section 10 is rotatably driven by the shaft 17. Preferably, the armature 16 includes a guide 34 that guides the coils 29 on the outside of the outer surface of the shaft 17 on at least at one axial end of the core 21. The coils 29 are wound around opposing slots. On the end where the guide 34 is provided, the coils 29 are preferably guided by the guide 34, and thereby are wound to detour around the region in proximity to the shaft 17.

    摘要: Fuel pump (10) may comprise a casing (18) and an impeller (20) rotating within the casing. A group of concavities (20a) may be formed in an upper or a lower face of the impeller. A groove (24) communicating a discharge hole (25) may be formed in a inner face of the casing. The groove extends continuously in a direction of rotation of the impeller in an area facing the group of concavities of the impeller. The groove may have an opening portion (27e) that directly communicates with the discharge hole. The opening portion may be shaped so as to extend in the rotation direction of the impeller, within a span extending from a position corresponding to substantially the central position of the concavities of the impeller, in the radial direction thereof, to a position corresponding to substantially the outer peripheral edge of the concavities of the impeller. The inner peripheral edge (29) of the groove, on the side communicating with the discharge hole, may slant in the downstream end from a position corresponding to substantially the inner peripheral edge of the concavities of the impeller towards a position corresponding to substantially the central position of the concavities of the impeller, in the radial direction thereof, to connect with the opening portion. The opening portion may be formed so as to extend in the rotation direction of the impeller beyond the position (29b) where the inner peripheral edge connects therewith.

    摘要: The fuel injection valve of the present invention is constituted such that a needle valve 5 and a movable core 4 are movably disposed in an axial direction in the inside of a body 1. Here, a fixed member 8 which the movable core 4 approaches at the time of closing the valve is disposed in the body 1, and a gap is formed between the movable core 4 and the fixed member 8 at the time of closing the valve. When fuel remaining in the gap between the movable core 4 and the fixed member 8 is pressurized according to the movement of the movable core 4 to the valve closing side, a squeezing portion SB1 is disposed at a portion which constitutes a passage for the fuel extruded from the gap. At the time of closing the valve, a squeezing reaction force (reaction force against the squeezing-out force or pushing-out force generated at the time of pressurizing a liquid and squeezing a liquid through the gap) is generated on the movable core 4. Since the squeezing reaction force is increased in an inversely proportional manner to the cube of the size of the gap between the movable core 4 and the fixed member 8, even when the gap between two opposing surface (that is, the gap between the proximal end surface of the fixed member 8 and the distal end surface of the movable core 4) is small, a large squeezing reaction force is generated. Further, a braking is quickly applied to the movable core 4 and and the needle valve 5 due to this squeezing reaction force just slightly before the point of time when the valve is closed.
