Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention is an identification circuit for generating an identification number (ID). The identification circuit includes a plurality of identification cells each comprising a latch having a first output and a second output that are opposite to each other. The first output and the second output are a function of process variations of the identification circuit. A first buffer and a second buffer are provided on both sides of the latch and connected to the first output and the second output of the latch, respectively.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacture of a grid structure for use in lead acid batteries using a substrate having low density and low melting point, the method comprising coating the substrate material with a first metal layer and a subsequent metal layer of lead/lead alloy and electrodepositing an electroconductive polymer to form a protective layer thereon.
Abstract:
A leak retardant automotive battery includes a housing containing a plurality of cells that each have a filling plug and a battery cover closing the housing above the cells. The battery cover includes a central blockage that divides the housing into two compartments that each contain a set of cells. The cells in each compartment are connected by vent holes in the battery cover that are respectively connected to associated vent cap assemblies so as to separately vent each compartment through its associated vent cap assembly.
Abstract:
An antacid product having extended duration of residence in the gastric and upper intestinal systems has been developed. This antacid product includes a blend of 10-70% by volume nonphospholipid lipid vesicles, with a particulate base. An antiflatulence agent may also be included. A method of providing extended duration amelioration of acid build up in the gastric and upper intestinal tract using this product is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method for providing a software based secure, robust, flexible, usable, and auditable single method that can practically eliminate threat occurring from phishing, man-in-middle theft, pharming/channel redirection, piggybacking of spyware, and application modification in client applications. These can be very strongly achieved using dynamic virtualization technology. This virtualization technology entirely protects applications from such threats is by creating highly dynamic virtual images of real data that are private, relative, one-time use, and short-lived. These virtual images are strongly made private and relative by creating virtual device id of the client device, virtual application signature of the client application, virtual private network of the network and virtual certificate of the server.

Abstract:
System, method, computer program product embodiments and combinations and sub-combinations thereof for snapshot isolation support for distributed query processing in a shared disk database cluster are provided. The embodiments include the forming of object identification data in a leader node of query execution in the shared disk database cluster. At least one fragment of the query execution is distributed to at least one worker node in the shared disk database cluster, and the object identification data is utilized for multiversion concurrency control during query execution by the leader node and at least one worker node.

Abstract:
Techniques for providing extensibility framework for processing network packets are described herein. In one embodiment, in response to a packet received at a network element, the packet is processed using a generic process for performing a first type of operations required by the packet, wherein the first type of operations is common to a type of the packet. An extended process is invoked, via an extensibility application programming interface (API), to perform a custom operation that is not common to the generic process and is not statically known to the generic process, in order to determine whether the packet is eligible to access a resource of at least one of a plurality of application servers of a datacenter, including a layer-7 access control process. The network element operates as an application service gateway for the datacenter. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.
Abstract:
Novel diphenyl ether derivatives are provided that exhibit activity useful for reducing glucose, cholesterol, and/or triglyceride levels in plasma, and for treatment of obesity, inflammation, immunological diseases, autoimmune diseases, diabetes and disorders associated with insulin resistance.
