    Abstract: Method for determining and/or improving a position estimation of a vehicle, comprising a step (a) comprising determining at least three distances of the vehicle from at least three signal generators, wherein the respective distance is a distance between the vehicle and one of the at least three signal generators each. Here, the at least three signal generators each comprise a predetermined position with respect to a moving coordinate system, and the moving coordinate system is a coordinate system with respect to which the position of an unmoved object can change due to a movement of the coordinate origin. Further, the method comprises a step (b) comprising determining and/or improving the position estimation of the vehicle by using the at least three determined distances of the vehicle from the at least three signal generators and the predetermined positions of the at least three signal generators with respect to the moving coordinate system.

    Abstract: Embodiments according to the present invention include a device for providing an electrical test signal, for performing a continuity test of an electrical line of an object, including: a communication module configured to receive an activation signal for switching the device from a passive operating mode to an active operating mode, and to obtain a deactivation signal for switching the device from the active operating mode to the passive operating mode. Furthermore, the device includes a signal generator configured to generate the electrical test signal in the active operating mode. In addition, the device includes an energy source configured to supply the communication module and the signal generator with energy. The device also includes a coupling-in module configured to couple the electrical test signal into the electrical line of the object in the active operating mode.
