    Abstract: Clamping device includes a clamp frame that is configured to move between an open configuration, in which the clamp frame is configured to receive at least one longitudinal element, and a closed configuration, in which the clamp frame wraps around and holds the at least one longitudinal element. The clamp frame includes a coupling end having an inner surface and a coupling base having an outer surface. The inner and outer surfaces have profiles that form a locked engagement to hold the clamp frame in the closed configuration. The clamping device also includes a secondary locking mechanism that secures the coupling end and the coupling base to each other. The secondary locking mechanism is activated after the clamp frame is held in the closed configuration by the locked engagement.

    Abstract: A low profile component tie includes a strap having a top and a bottom. The strap is configured to wrap around a component with the bottom facing the component. The strap has sides between the top and the bottom. The strap has teeth disposed along at least one of the sides. The strap extends between a root end and a distal end. A head is provided at the root end of the strap. The head has a channel configured to receive the strap. The head has at least one pawl provided in the channel. The pawl engages at least one of the teeth along the side of the strap to secure the strap in the head.

    Abstract: Pluggable transceiver assembly includes a transceiver body having first and second plug portions and a common base portion that joins the first and second plug portions. The first and second plug portions are separated from each other by an elongated wall-receiving gap that is sized and shaped to receive a receptacle wall of a receptacle assembly. The pluggable transceiver assembly also includes a communication sub-assembly having a transceiver substrate that includes first and second plug sections and a shared section that joins the first and second plug sections. The first and second plug sections extend toward a leading end of the transceiver body from the shared section to substrate edges of the first and second plug sections, respectively. The substrate edges include electrical contacts configured to engage a corresponding receptacle connector of the receptacle assembly.

    Abstract: A bus bar for electrically connecting adjacent battery cells of a battery module includes a base having a first leg and a second leg connected by a flexible joint. The flexible joint is folded-over such that the first leg is above the second leg. A first terminal tab extends from the first leg. The first terminal tab is configured to be terminated to a corresponding battery terminal of a first of the battery cells. A second terminal tab extends from the second leg. The second terminal tab is configured to be terminated to a corresponding battery terminal of a second of the battery cells. The first and second terminal tabs are arranged side-by-side with the first terminal tab being vertically positionable independent of the second terminal tab by the flexible joint.

    Abstract: A connector mating assurance system includes an audible sensor configured to be located in a vicinity of a mating zone for electrical connectors. The audible sensor is configured to detect an audible sound when the electrical connectors are mated. The system includes a connector identification sensor configured to be located in the vicinity of the electrical connectors. The connector identification sensor is configured to identify the presence of the electrical connectors. The system includes a controller connected to the audible sensor and the connector identification sensor. The controller receives connector identification signals from the connector identification sensor and the controller receives audio signals from the audible sensor. The controller processes the connector identification signals and the audio signals for mating assurance.

    Abstract: Connector sub-assembly includes a plurality of signal conductors. The connector sub-assembly also includes a ground frame having ground conductors and a ground bus that interconnects the ground conductors. The ground bus has opposite first and second sides. The connector sub-assembly also includes a dielectric carrier that surrounds the ground bus and intermediate segments of the signal conductors. Mating segments of the signal conductors project from the dielectric carrier and are configured to engage corresponding contacts of a mating connector. The signal conductors include first conductors and second conductors, and the ground conductors are interleaved between adjacent first and second conductors. The intermediate segments of the first conductors extend adjacent to the first side of the ground bus. The intermediate segments of the second conductors extend adjacent to the second side of the ground bus.
