摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes a first binding unit configured to bind a sheet bundle; a second binding unit with greater number of bindable sheets than number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit; and a number-of-sheets determining unit configured to determine whether number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit. The first binding unit moves to a binding position, and if the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the first binding unit moves away from the binding position. When the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the second binding unit moves to the binding position.

摘要: A paper folding apparatus performs folding by making an end of the paper abut against a stopper member to set a folding position, and making the paper at the folding position be bitten into a nip between a pair of folding rollers, and can perform the folding of a plurality of sheets of paper. The paper folding apparatus can perform outward three folding by making the paper abut against a second stopper member to set a second folding position, and making the sheets of paper at the second folding position be bitten into a nip between a second pair of folding rollers to perform a second folding. In the second folding operation for performing the outward three folding, the second stopper member is moved to push the paper in a direction of the nip between the second pair of folding rollers.

摘要: A magnetophoresis type display device, according to one embodiment, is provided with a transparent front panel sheet, a back panel sheet arranged with respect to the front panel sheet so as to form a sealed space with it, a partitioning member provided between the front panel sheet and the back panel sheet for partitioning the sealed space into a large number of cells and a liquid dispersion containing magnetic particles and a single-color fluid to be sealed inside the cells formed by partitioning by the partitioning member. The single-color fluid is a white fluid that includes at least titanium oxide and silicon oxide in which when the total weight of the white fluid is 100 wt %, the wt % of the titanium oxide in the white fluid is C, and the wt % of the silicon oxide is D, the weight ratio C/D is in the relationship of 1≦C/D≦2.5.

摘要: A sheet stacker includes a sheet ejector, a sheet stack portion, and air blowers. The sheet ejector ejects a sheet. The sheet stack portion stacks the sheet ejected by the sheet ejector. The air blowers blow air from blow ports toward the sheet ejected from the sheet ejector. Each of the air blowers includes an air generator, an air guide, a first blow portion, a second blow portion, and a switcher. The air generator generates the air. The air guide guides the air to each of the blow ports. The first blow portion blows the air toward the sheet. The second blow portion blows the air in a direction different from a direction in which the first blow portion blows the air. The switcher performs switching so that the air guide guides the air to one of the first blow portion and the second blow portion.

摘要: A magnetophoretic display panel capable of displaying clear and distinct indicia and erasing the indicia neatly. The display panel includes a multi-cell structure having a thickness of 0.8 to 1.5 mm and formed with a number of cells which contain therein colored liquids and colored magnetic particles. A magnetic pen exhibits an effective magnetic flux density of 100 to 500 Gauss at a bottom of a magnetic panel when positioned on a surface of the magnetic panel. An erasure magnet exhibits an effective magnetic flux density of 300 to 1500 Gauss at the surface of the magnetic panel when positioned on the bottom of the magnetic panel.
