Abstract:
This display device has a demultiplexer (501) formed on a liquid crystal panel, the demultiplexer including three switching elements SW1 to SW3 for time-division drive, which are connected to video signal lines SL1 to SL3. Here, the number of switching control signal lines for transmitting switching control signals GS1 to GS6 to be provided to switching elements coupled to the video signal lines is six, which is twice the number of time divisions, and switching control signals (e.g., GS1 and GS4) with the same timing are individually transmitted by two switching control signal lines, so that the number of switching elements to be coupled to the switching control signal lines as loads can be halved, resulting in reduced waveform rounding of the control signals.
Abstract:
A display device of at least one embodiment of the present invention is a display device of an active matrix type, and includes a display driver supplied with image data included in serial data by serial transmission. The serial data is provided with a first flag for specifying a polarity of voltage of a common electrode. The display driver extracts the first flag from the serial data in accordance with a timing of a serial clock, and performs display in accordance with the image data, while generating the voltage of the common electrode which voltage has the polarity specified by the first flag extracted. This realizes a display device capable of generating a timing signal for AC common voltage, while having a small circuit.
Abstract:
A content protection data processing system and a playback device determine whether to permit playback of a content recorded in a recording medium, based on a type of the recording medium and a signature type of a signature attached to a program. Additionally, the content protection data processing system and the playback device switch a procedure relating to a digital signature for each signature type of the digital signature, which enables both the protection of the copyright of the content and the efficient manufacturing of commercial ROM media.
Abstract:
Provided is a production apparatus that can produce a distribution content that offers an even richer color tone expression during playback of video. The production apparatus for producing a distribution content including distribution video data is constituted by an original acquisition unit that acquires original video data; a distribution video acquisition unit that acquires the distribution video data, the distribution video data having been generated by conversion of the original video data to a lower gradation; a difference generation unit that generates difference data between the original video data and the distribution video data; and an output unit that outputs the difference data. A playback apparatus plays back the distribution content.
Abstract:
In the object lens drive unit including a lens holder with an object lens attached to, a plurality of driving coils attached to the lens holder, connection substrates attached to both sides of the lens holder, and a plurality of suspension wires with end parts thereof connected to the connection substrates for operatively supporting the lens holder, a plurality of sets of wire connection electrodes for connecting the suspension wires and coil connection electrodes electrically connected to the wire connection electrodes for connecting terminal wires of the coils are arranged in line in an optic axis direction of the object lens and the wire connection electrodes and the coil connection electrodes are formed in a symmetric shape to a central axis parallel to the optic axis direction on the connection substrates.
Abstract:
A first determination section determines, when an instruction for connection establishment is issued, whether or not connection information including target apparatus specifying information that uniquely specifies a predetermined target apparatus is stored in a first storage section. A first connection section performs, when the first determination section determines that the connection information is stored in the first storage section, a process for establishing a connection by wireless communication to the target apparatus that is specified based on the target apparatus specifying information stored in the first storage section.

Abstract:
A leakage diagnosis apparatus for diagnosing presence/absence of refrigerant leakage in a refrigerant circuit performing a refrigeration cycle, wherein refrigerant leakage diagnosis using the amount of refrigerant exergy loss in a circuit component of the refrigerant circuit is realized. In a leakage diagnosis apparatus, an exergy calculation section calculates a leakage index value which changes in accordance with the amount of refrigerant leaking out of a refrigerant circuit based on the amount of refrigerant exergy loss in the circuit component. Then, a leakage determination section determines whether there is refrigerant leakage in the refrigerant circuit based on the leakage index value calculated by the exergy calculation section.
Abstract:
A plurality of display panels (10A and 10B) are provided on a single substrate (2). Data signal lines (11A), scanning signal lines (12A), a data signal line drive circuit (20A) for driving the data signal lines (11A), and a scanning signal line drive circuit (30A) for driving the scanning signal lines (12A) are provided for the display panel (10A). Data signal lines (11B), scanning signal lines (12B), a data signal line drive circuit (20B) for driving the data signal lines (11B), and a scanning signal line drive circuit (30B) for driving the scanning signal lines (12B) are provided for the display panel (10B). Input signal lines (17A and 17B) are provided so as not intersect each other in a plan view. This allows a reduction in power consumption and an increase in flexibility in design in a display panel which includes a plurality of display panels on a single substrate.
