Abstract:
An emboss roller is provided that can give projecting-and-recess embosses to a surface sheet while uniform fiber density is realized through in an emboss roller which has a first emboss roll and a second roll formed as a set and gives projecting-and-recessed embosses by passing a surface sheet between these emboss rolls, and on the surface of the first emboss roll, a projecting portion projecting outward from a reference surface with the reference surface as a boundary and a recess portion recessed from the reference surface are provided, and the smooth reference surface is present in the periphery of the projecting portion and the recess portion, and on the surface of the second emboss roll, a projecting portion projecting outward from the reference surface with the reference surface as a boundary and meshed with the recess portion of the first emboss roll and a recess position recessed from the reference surface and meshed with the projecting portion of the first emboss roll are provided, and the smooth reference surface is present in the periphery of the projecting portion and the recess portion.
Abstract:
A pants garment has a pair of thigh leg members for covering the thigh area of a wearer. A front thigh elastic band member is provided substantially at a front side of each of the thigh leg members and extends obliquely from an upper front portion to a lower front portion of each thigh leg member. A back thigh elastic band member is provided substantially at a back side of each of the thigh leg members and extends obliquely from an upper back portion to a lower back portion of each thigh leg member. The garment also has a front and back crus elastic band members extending obliquely on crus leg members, which cover the crus areas of the wearer.
Abstract:
In a femoral support member 3 for a walking assistance device, the walking assistance device includes a power actuator (actuator 4) having a drive shaft and secured to a hip region of a wearer, and the femoral support member secures a free end of an assist force transmitting arm 5 extending from the drive shaft of the power actuator to a femoral region of the wearer. The present invention is characterized in that the femoral support member engages the femoral region of the wearer via a pad 23 provided with friction reducing means. The fact that the femoral region of the wearer is allowed to make a sliding contact with the femoral support member accommodates the relative movement between the support member and body owing to the disagreement between the axis of body movement (center of an articulate joint) and the point at which the power actuator/power transmitting arm engages the wearer's body. Therefore, the present invention is highly effective in minimizing the discomfort to the wearer.
Abstract:
A garment comprising a stretch fabric wherein the garment covers at least a part of the lower body of a wearer, has a crotch part, and is worn by being fitted to the wearer's body, wherein the garment in part has a first portion with a strong straining force; first portion with a strong straining force is a strong straining portion (A); right and left parts of the portion (A) are connected at a second position on the back side of the garment corresponding to any region from os sacrum to vertebrae lumbalis of the wearer's body; and the portion (A) covers a region extending from second position through tops of bulges of the buttocks or vicinities thereof approximately in the direction of muscle fibers of musculus gluteus maximus at right and left to at least the vicinity of trochanter major.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a leg protection garment that is effective for mainly supporting the hamstrings, the muscle of the posterior side of the femoral region among the leg portion. The leg protection garment having a lower half of the body part which has a leg portion of length capable of covering at least the patella region and formed of stretchable fabric, the garment having a portion having a partially strong straining force, the portion having a strong straining force comprising at least a portion having a strong straining force 101 (A) which ranges from an area above the trochanter major to the vicinity 5 of the upper end of the tibia by way of the trochanter major and further the vicinity over the boundary between the musculus biceps femoris and the tractus iliotibialis so as to support the musculus biceps femoris, wherein the portion obliquely crosses the vicinity 4 of the tendon region located below the muscle belly of the musculus biceps femoris without crossing the muscle belly of the musculus biceps femoris.
Abstract:
The invention provides a shoulder and arm support garment capable of covering at least an upper body part of a human. The shoulder and arm support garment includes a front and back body part wherein at least one portion having a strong straining force is attached to the front and/or back body part of the garment. The garment of the invention is effective for preventing and treating shoulder joint or muscle disorders and can easily be put on an taken off by ordinary people.
Abstract:
In order to provide a walking assistance device that can avoid hampering the motion of the muscles of the user and will not move out of place inadvertently when worn by the user, principal engagement points of a support member for securely mounting an assisting force generator, which is disposed on a side of at least one joint of a lower limb to provide an assisting force to a movement of the lower limb, are provided at portions where a relatively small amount of movement of skin occurs when a trunk or joint is moved. In this way, the support member can be fastened firmly to the portions where an amount of movement of the skin is small and therefore it is possible to reduce the uncomfortable pressure caused during motion while preventing the support member from inadvertently moving out of place.
