摘要: There is disclosed an operation microscope in which an observing and displaying system of an operating instrument are selected, and an endoscope image for observing a dead angle of the microscope and a navigation image are selectively displayed in a microscope observation field, so that a tomographic image, three-dimensionally constructed image, and the like can be selectively displayed in a display screen in accordance with a treatment position displayed in a monitor or an observation position of the operation microscope.

摘要: An image observation apparatus comprising an image display unit for displaying an observation image and a supporting mechanism for supporting the image display unit movably and adjustably in the directions of three, substantially perpendicular axes. Since the supporting mechanism of this image observation apparatus can move and adjust the image display unit in three orthogonal axial directions, an operator need not select a plurality of articulates for operating them when he/she wants to move the image display unit to a desired axial direction. Further, one of the three axes can be a rotational axis for turnably supporting the image display unit around the operator. According to this configuration, the image display unit can be independently moved and adjusted in three axial directions, while the observation angle of the observer with respect to the display face of the image display unit is kept constant.

摘要: An operating microscope includes a base and a support coupled to the base. An arm has a proximal end portion rotatably and/or vertically movably coupled to the support, and a distal end portion. At least the distal end portion is formed of a non-magnetic material. A microscope portion is coupled to the distal end portion of the arm and includes a stereoscopic optical system for forming an image of an observed part. The microscope portion is formed of a non-magnetic material. The operating microscope also includes a power system for operating the microscope portion or a part thereof, and an operation instructing portion for instructing the power system to operate. The power system includes a power generating portion for generating a pressure change or a positional change; a power output portion, formed of a non-magnetic material, for converting the pressure change or the positional change of the power generating portion into a power for operating the microscope portion and a part thereof; and a power transmitting mechanism for transmitting the pressure change and the positional change from the power generating portion to the power output portion. The power transmitting mechanism is formed of a non-magnetic material at least near the power output portion.

摘要: An apparatus for holding a medical instrument, such as an endoscope, in place without exerting an undue force on an insertion hole in an abdominal cavity of a subject even when the arm of a scope-holding section is unlocked, includes a four-link parallelogram mechanism. The four-link parallelogram mechanism includes a support arm for supporting a treating tool, an arm section parallel to the support arm and upper and lower arm sections connected to the upper and lower end sides of the support arm and arm section in a parallel relation. A support mechanism supports the arm sections of the four-link parallelogram mechanism to allow the arm sections to be moved in left/right and up/down directions, while being rotated, so that a straight line connecting an intersecting point P of a center line of the treating instrument inserted into an insertion hole in an abdominal wall of a subject and the center of the insertion hole to spherical bearings of the arm is set parallel to the upper and lower arm sections.

摘要: A stereomicroscope includes an objective optical system, a variable magnification optical system, and a plurality of imaging optical systems, in which the plurality of imaging optical systems can be moved in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the variable magnification optical system. Thus, the stereomicroscope has the advantage that where one of two observers wishes to observe a brighter image, the amount of light can be adjusted, without replacement of a light source, by moving the imaging optical systems.

摘要: In order to allow the assistant also to make an observation of the same region of the object as by the surgical operator in the form of a normal and clear stereoscopic image, and to enable the size of the barrel as well as the price to be about the same as that of an ordinary surgical microscope having two optical axes, the surgical microscope of the invention is arranged so that by the employment of two pairs of prisms each having a polarized light beam splitter section and a total reflection surface, a pair of operator's observational optical systems and a pair of assistant's observational optical systems are used partly in common, and one of the polarized beams so split by the polarized beam splitter section is utilized as the operator's observational light, and the other is utilized as the assistant's observational light. One pair among the two pairs of prisms is constructed as a first stereoscopic view adapter, and the other pair as a second stereoscopic view adapter, and the common portion of the observational optical systems mentioned above is constructed in the form of a barrel, and all of these constituent parts are removably coupled to each other.

摘要: Binocular luminous fluxes are formed by an objective lens and a pair of relay lenses and go through a splitting optical system, which allows an assistant to observe the same stereoscopic view as the surgeon by using an assistant's binocular eyepiece optical system at a location across from the surgeon via a splitting optical system. Part of at least one of the binocular luminous fluxes is incident on a pupil splitting optical system, forming a binocular luminous flux that has undergone pupil splitting, which allows stereoscopic observation by pupil splitting even when the assistant's binocular eyepiece optical system is rotated to the surgeon's side.

摘要: Provided is a surgical observational system capable of effectively displaying, in the field of an operating microscope, a real-time image obtained by means of an ultrasonic probe, for example, and a slice image obtained by a preoperative diagnosis on the location of the distal end portion of the probe or a three-dimensional image of an affected region, in association with an actual observational image obtained by means of the microscope. The surgical operation observational system is provided with two monitors in the operating microscope for the observation of the affected region to be operated. Images on the two monitors are alternatively superposed on the optical path of the operating microscope.
