摘要: A controller may include first and second input operating sections to input an instruction, and a control unit to control selection of an object on a screen display based on an instruction input at the first and second input operating sections. When an enter instruction is input at one of the first and second input operating sections following input of a movement instruction at the other of the first and second input operating sections, the control unit may control start of a function of an object at a position indicated based on the input of the movement instruction at the other of the input operating sections.

摘要: An information processing apparatus includes an information processing apparatus main body and a remote controller capable of controlling the information processing apparatus main body. The information processing apparatus main body includes a connection unit capable of being connected with an electronic apparatus, a first storage unit to store model identification information, and a control unit to perform control so that display information of a model selection screen for causing a user to select a model of the electronic apparatus with the remote controller is supplied to the electronic apparatus, the model is determined, and model identification information corresponding to the model is transmitted to the remote controller. The remote controller includes a plurality of keys, a transmission unit, a second storage unit to store a list of control codes assigned to the plurality of keys, and an assignment unit to assign the control codes to the plurality of keys.

摘要: Electronic equipment of the present invention includes a first housing 2 with an elastically deformable thin-wall portion 25 formed as a part of the front wall, an elastically deformable spacer member 4, and a sub board 5 on which switches 51 are mounted. The spacer member 4 includes a plurality of elastic members 41 and a second supporting member 46. Each of the elastic members 41 includes an operating strip 41a that is formed so that when the thin-wall portion 25 is deformed elastically, one surface of the operating strip 41a can be brought into contact with a back surface of the thin-wall portion 25 and the other surface can be pressed against the switch 51. The second supporting member 46 is formed so as to protrude between each of the elastic members 41, and can be brought into contact with the back surface of the thin-wall portion 25 at least when the thin-wall portion 25 is deformed elastically. The elastic members 41 and the second supporting member 46 are formed integrally. With this configuration, the electronic equipment does not cause an operation error in which a plurality of switches are pressed simultaneously.

摘要: In a battery including a battery cell formed in a flattened substantially parallelepiped shape and a terminal contacting section electrically connected to the battery cell, at one end in the longitudinal direction of a face of the battery opposing to the face on which the terminal contacting section is provided, a projecting portion which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided. Meanwhile, another projecting portion which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided at the other end. The projecting portions may have projecting lengths different from each other or may have projecting lengths and projecting thicknesses different from each other. A charging apparatus into which the battery is to be installed includes an accommodating section for the battery which in turn includes projection accommodating portions configured to individually accommodate the projecting portions.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an imaging device including a battery compartment having an opening for insertion and ejection of a battery, a battery release lever for allowing the insertion of the battery into the battery compartment through the opening and the ejection of the battery from the battery compartment through the opening, and a battery lid for openably closing the opening of the battery compartment. The battery release lever is located adjacent to the battery lid so as not to be substantially covered with the battery lid in its closed condition. Accordingly, the position of the battery release lever can be visually recognized even in the closed condition of the battery lid.

The remote controller includes a cursor key operation unit capable of performing a focus shift operation to cause a user to shift a focus and an enter input operation to cause the user to select an object as an selection candidate on which the focus is disposed and a mouse operation unit capable of performing a cursor pointer movement operation to move a cursor pointer and an enter input operation to cause the user to select the object indicated by the cursor pointer. The information processing apparatus includes a judgment unit to judge the object selected and a first enter input restriction unit to invalidate the enter input operation of the mouse operation unit performed within a preset time period from when a latest focus shift operation of the cursor key operation unit is performed.

摘要: In a battery loading and unloading mechanism, a battery formed in a flat rectangular parallelepiped and having an almost square main surface is loaded and unloaded to and from a device. The battery is formed with projecting portions at longitudinal both ends of a back surface thereof and along the back surface, whereby the battery can be prevented from being erroneously inserted into the device. The projecting portion has an inclined surface acutely inclined with respect to the back surface, and when the battery is unloaded from the device, unloading of the battery from the device is accelerated by the inclined surface undergoing contact pressure of the retaining means. The device is formed with a notched portion which is adapted to expose the other projecting portion of the battery when the battery is loaded, thereby facilitating unloading of the battery.
