摘要： An insulated bolt cap for covering a bolt on an outer plate of an aircraft nacelle is described. The bolt is used to attach an insulation blanket to the outer plate of the aircraft nacelle. The insulation blanket has one or more cavities or depressions with a bolt end exposed in the valley of the cavity. The insulated bolt cap is made of an upper plate coupled with a lower plate, and insulation material therebetween. The underside surface of the lower plate of the insulated bolt cap has an opening sized and dimensioned to mate with the bolt. The top surface of the insulated bolt cap can have a reinforced region with one or more indentations for receiving a tool.

The conduit is insulated by a jacket-like component that creates a space between the conduit and the jacket, where the gap can be filled with air or some other insulating material. The jacket is sealed to the flexible conduit by sealing components that are configured to slide along end cap portions of the flexible conduit. Because the conduit is flexible, it can couple two other conduits that move relative to one another such that fluid can flow from one area to another via the flexible conduit.

摘要： A thermal insulating structure comprising a top, a bottom, first and second sides, a thermal insulating material, and a first transverse member is contemplated. The thermal insulating material is disposed between the first and second sides. The first transverse member comprises a plurality of apertures, which thereby provides less material of the transverse member for heat transfer compared to an identical transverse member with no apertures. Thus, the path for heat transfer through the first transverse member is restricted and the effect of an undesirable “hot spot” is reduced or eliminated.
