    摘要: An insertion system for an intraocular lens includes an intraocular lens having a deformable optical portion, a lens package for storing the lens in a state in which no stress acts on the optical portion of the lens, a deforming member for deforming the lens to a reduced size, and an insertion device. The insertion device has an insertion tube through which the deformed lens is inserted into an eye, and a pusher mechanism for pushing and inserting the lens into the eye. The lens package has a function for attachment to the insertion device and a function for acting as a portion of the mechanism to be provided by the insertion device.

    摘要: An insertion device for inserting a deformable intraocular lens into the eye. The insertion device has a an enclosing member that is attached to the body of the insertion device and that has two hinge portions at a lens receiving section. Further, a retainer member is fitted onto the enclosing member and a holder fitted onto the body. The deformable intraocular lens is placed in the lens receiving section after the enclosing member is opened. When the holder is retracted, the intraocular lens is deformed by a tapered inner wall portion formed at a the tip end of the holder, so that the exterior size of the lens is reduced. Subsequently, a push rod supported by the body is advanced in order to insert the lens into the eye.

    摘要: An image shake detecting device for detecting a shake of an image on an image sensing plane on the basis of a video signal output from an image sensor includes detection circuits arranged to detect image displacement in a plurality of areas set on the image sensing plane, and a control microcomputer which makes a discrimination, on the basis of information output from these detection circuits, between a movement of a camera and a solo movement of a photographed object. The device thus accurately makes compensation for an image shake by judging the state of the image on the basis of information output from these detection circuits. The image shake detecting device further includes a computing circuit arranged to compute a quantity of an image shake on the basis of a difference in detecting timing of a feature point of the image and a sensitivity control circuit arranged to change the detection sensitivity of the shake detection circuits. Further disclosed is an object tracing device to which the invented image shake detecting device is applied.

A focus detecting device comprises an imaging optical system having a variable-focus optical element, an image sensor provided at a determined image plane of the imaging optical system or an optically equivalent position, a sharpness detecting device for detecting the sharpness of the image from image signals obtained from the image sensor, and a device for varying the refractive power of the variable-focus optical element, and the focus state of the image on the image sensor is detected by comparing the sharpnesses detected by the sharpness detecting device at plural refractive powers of the variable-focus optical element.

    摘要: An ophthalmologic knife includes a handle, and a blade having a base portion fixed to the tip of the handle and an incision-forming portion integrally formed with the base portion. The entire portion of the blade or at least part of the incision-forming portion which is inserted into the cornea of an eyeball has an arcuate cross section. By using the ophthalmologic knife, a three-dimensional incision having an arcuate cross section is formed in the cornea or the like. When a three-dimensional object having a cylindrical cross section or the like is inserted into the incision, the convex portion surrounded by the incision is bent toward the inside of the eyeball. This allows smooth insertion of the object.

    摘要: A can is disassembled by a disassembling apparatus for measurement of can seam dimensions. The can is composed of a can body and an end member which are coupled to each other by a can-seamed region. The can body has an end opening closed by the end thereby sealing the interior of the can. The disassembling apparatus comprises a can holding mechanism (3, 6, 9) for holding the can by gripping the end member and a bottom of the can body, a rotating mechanism (2), for rotating the can about its own axis which is held by the can holding mechanism, and a cutter (23) disposed so as to orient a cutting blade toward the axis of the can for cutting the outer circumferential edge region of the end member which externally surrounds a folded portion of the can body in the can-seamed region in a circumferential direction of the can.
