    摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for making magnesium-based composite material. The method comprises the following steps. Firstly, a semi-solid-state magnesium-based material is provided. Secondly, at least one nanoscale reinforcement is added into the semi-solid-state magnesium-based material to obtain a semi-solid-state mixture. Thirdly, the semi-solid-state mixture is heated to a liquid-state mixture. Fourthly, the liquid-state mixture is ultrasonically processed. Fifthly, the liquid-state mixture is cooled to obtain the magnesium-based composite material.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for making aluminum-based composite material. The method includes the following steps. First, a aluminum-based material in semi-solid state is provided. Second, at least one nanoscale reinforcement is added into the aluminum-based material in semi-solid state to obtain a mixture in semi-solid state. Third, the mixture in semi-solid state is heated to a mixture in liquid state. Fourth, the mixture in liquid state is ultrasonically processed. Fifth, the mixture in liquid state is cooled to obtain the aluminum-based composite material.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a magnesium based composite material. The magnesium based composite material includes a magnesium based metal matrix and nanoparticles dispersed in the magnesium based metal matrix in a weight percentage of a range from about 0.01% to about 2%. The present disclosure also relates to a method for making the magnesium based composite material. In the method, the nanoparticles are added to the magnesium based metal at a temperature of about 460° C. to about 580° C. to form a mixture. The mixture is ultrasonically vibrated at a temperature of about 620° C. to about 650° C. The mixture is casted at a temperature of about 650° C. to about 680° C., to form an ingot.

    摘要: A method for fabricating a magnesium-based alloy includes the steps of: (a) mixing a number of carbon nanotubes with a number of magnesium particles; (b) heating the mixture in a protective gas to achieve a semi-solid-state paste; (c) stirring the semi-solid-paste using an electromagnetic stirring force to disperse the carbon nanotubes into the paste; (d) injecting the semi-solid-state paste into a die; and (e) cooling the semi-solid-state paste to achieve a magnesium-based alloy. An apparatus for fabricating the magnesium-based alloy includes a transferring device, a thixomolding machine, and an electromagnetic stirring device. The transferring device includes a feed inlet. The thixomolding machine includes a heating barrel having two ends, a nozzle disposed at a first end thereof, and an material input positioned at a second end thereof. The electromagnetic stirring device includes an electromagnetic induction coil disposed on an outer wall of the heating barrel.

The thixomolding machine includes a heating barrel, a feeding inlet, a nozzle, a heating portion, and a plunger. The heating barrel includes a first end and a second end. The feeding inlet is disposed at the first end. The nozzle is disposed at the second end. The heating portion is disposed around the heating barrel. The plunger is disposed at a center of the heating barrel. The feeding device includes a hopper; an aspirator connected to the hopper, a first container, and a second container. The hopper is in communication with the first container and the second container. A method for fabricating a magnesium-based carbon nanotube composite material is also provided.
