摘要： An apparatus for measuring skin moisture content in a user's skin is provided. The apparatus may include a signal supplier to generate an out-of-phase signal from a voltage signal obtained from the user's skin and an in-phase signal from the voltage signal, a susceptance measurement unit to measure the susceptance of the voltage signal by synchronizing the voltage signal and the out-of-phase signal received from the signal supplier, a conductance measurement unit to measure the conductance of the voltage signal by synchronizing the voltage signal and the in-phase signal, and an output unit to output sweat gland activity information of the user based on the measured conductance and skin moisture content information of the user based on the measured susceptance.

摘要： A method of estimating stress caused by an exercise includes receiving questionnaire data including body measurements from a user, measuring health measurement data, deducing an exercise target and an exercise prescription based on the received and measured data, and transmitting the exercise target and exercise prescription to the user. The questionnaire data is then received back from the user, including the body measurements from the user and measuring again the health measurements data; Parameters are designed based on the received and re-received questionnaire data and the measured and re-measured health measurement data and the parameters are converted to predetermined values. A regression analysis model is designed for estimating the exercise stress using the parameters and performing regression analysis and the exercise stress estimated through the regression analysis is transmitted to the user.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of coding an input image to a bitstream by using a zerotree wavelet transform, the method comprises merging a plurality of adjacent zerotrees, and coding the merged zerotrees to one symbol and outputting the symbol. The method further comprises transforming the input image to a wavelet domain having a plurality of wavelet coefficients via the zerotree wavelet transform, and generating the plurality of adjacent zerotrees each having the plurality of wavelet coefficients.

摘要： An apparatus, medium, and method for measuring body fat. The apparatus may include a current generating unit generating a current having a predetermined range of variable frequency and applying the current to a desired area in a human body to be measured, a detector unit detecting a voltage generated from the desired area in response to the current having a variable frequency and detecting a frequency value at which impedance of the desired area is changed based on relation between the detected voltage and the variable frequency, and a body fat calculating unit calculating body fat thickness based on the detected frequency value. It is possible to measure body fat thickness in any part of a human body by applying a variable frequency current to a desired area. Therefore, health and fatness management can be accomplished for each part of a human body.
