Abstract:
An information distribution system includes an information distribution apparatus, a sound wave generator that outputs a sound wave including first identification information, and a terminal that transmits an information distribution request. The information distribution apparatus includes a determining unit and a distribution control unit. When a distance between a location of the sound wave generator identified from the first identification information included in a first information distribution request received at a first time and a location of the sound wave generator identified from the first identification information included in a second information distribution request received at a second time prior to the first time is a threshold or less, the determining unit determines that the second identification information included in the first information distribution request is valid. When the first identification information is valid, the distribution control unit distributes distribution information associated with the first identification information to the terminal.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit configured to receive from the terminal apparatus, terminal apparatus identification information of the terminal apparatus and output apparatus identification information of an output apparatus that has been acquired by the terminal apparatus; and a notifying unit configured to notify the terminal apparatus of relocation information based on the terminal apparatus identification information and the output apparatus identification information received by the receiving unit. The relocation information includes at least one of information on moving from the position of the terminal apparatus to a predetermined destination and information on moving from the position of the terminal apparatus to a next location.
Abstract:
An apparatus management system managing an apparatus through an information terminal includes a transmission part configured to transmit terminal information identifying the information terminal and apparatus information identifying the apparatus, a reception part configured to receive the terminal information and the apparatus information, an authentication part configured to determine whether the received terminal information and apparatus information match one of registered combinations of terminal information and apparatus information, and a notification part configured to transmit apparatus management information to the information terminal when the authentication part determines that the received terminal information and apparatus information match one of the registered combinations of terminal information and apparatus information.
Abstract:
An information providing system includes a passenger conveyor having a handrail belt and a storage unit that stores a first tag identification information. A portable terminal reads the first tag identification information and transmits the first tag identification information and a portable terminal identification information. The information providing system further includes an information providing device to transmit a providing information corresponding to the first tag identification information and the portable terminal identification information.
Abstract:
If pixel segment insertion/extraction control by random number control which is uniform irrespective of a type of image data is performed, in the case of a character or diagram, main scanning positions where the pixel-segment insertion/extraction is executed become discontinuous in a sub-scanning direction, and image quality deteriorates. To solve the above problem, there is provided an image forming apparatus having: a unit for dividing an image into a plurality of areas in the main scanning direction; a unit for setting a reference area for performing pixel segment insertion/extraction control in each of divided areas; and a unit for deciding a position where the pixel segment insertion/extraction control in each of the divided area, in accordance with attribute information of image data in the set reference area.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes a first reading unit, a second reading unit, and a determination unit. The first reading unit reads an image on a first side of a document conveyed through a document conveyance path. The second reading unit is disposed in the document conveyance path at a reading position that is different from a reading position of the first reading unit and reads an image on a second side that is different from the first side on the document. The determination unit determines whether the document is a color document, according to whether a color image is included in an image in a predetermined region of the first side read by the first reading unit, and in an image in a region that is different from the predetermined region in the first side and read by the second reading unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a contact image sensor (CIS) configured to parallelly output image signals of a plurality of pixels via a plurality of signal lines, an analog frontend (AFE) configured to serially output the image signals of the plurality of pixels output from the CIS by converting the image signal into a plurality pieces of pixel data, an input/output control circuit configured to add reading position information and reading color information to each of the plurality pieces of pixel data, and a direct memory access controller (DMAC) configured to transfer each of the plurality pieces of pixel data to a storage position corresponding to the reading position information and the reading color information such that the plurality pieces of pixel data is stored in consecutive storage positions in an external memory.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus multiplies a first clock to drive the apparatus, thereby forming a second clock, and holds (1) a frequency of a third clock used by a print unit of the apparatus, (2) a magnification setting of the multiplying, (3) a resolution of the print unit, and (4) a micro zoom ratio. The apparatus sets a magnification of the multiplying based on the held values, discriminates whether a pixel is a target pixel to which a micro zoom is executed by using the held micro zoom ratio, and switches a count comparison value of the second clock formed by the multiplying based on the discrimination, thereby forming the third clock. The apparatus then forms a pixel segment based on image data of the target pixel corresponding to the discrimination and inserts the formed pixel segment based on a period of the third clock.
