Abstract:
Provided herein is a laser sight trigger guard for a handgun that enables a user to simultaneously switch on a laser as the trigger guard is moved before firing. The trigger guard has a first component that houses a laser assembly and a second component that covers the trigger when the handgun is not in use. The second component is pivotably attached to the first component. The laser assembly has a laser unit, an on off switch and a power supply. When unpivoted, the second component covers the trigger and the laser is kept in an off state. When pivoted, the second component no longer covers the trigger enabling the laser to switch on and to simultaneously provide access to the trigger.
Abstract:
A method and system are described for imaging core samples associated with a subsurface region. The imaging results may be used to create or update a subsurface model and using the subsurface model and/or imaging results in hydrocarbon operations. The imaging techniques may include NMR imaging and CT imaging. Further, the imaging techniques may also include exposing the core sample to the imaging gas.
Abstract:
Provided herein are devices for enhancing the quality of photo shooting using a camera integrated into a handheld smart device, such as a smartphone. An external lighting device comprises a base plate removably securable to a mount on the smart device, a connecting structure disposed at the edge of the top surface of the base plate and a ring-like turntable rotatably connected on the base plate via the connecting structure and a plurality of LED lights on the top surface of the turntable. When secured on the body of the smart device, the ring-like turntable rotates to a position where the LED lights surround the cameras to provide adjustable lighting. Further provided is a handheld camera system comprising a smart device, the external lighting device as described above and a protective case with a mount to attached to the lighting device.
Abstract:
System and methods are provided. In one embodiment, a system includes a first processor comprising a serial peripheral interface (SPI) port, and a second processor. The system further includes a galvanic isolation barrier. The system additionally includes a SPI bridge comprising a first output pin control configured to control a device. The SPI bridge additionally includes a first analog multiplexor control configured to route signals to a circuitry. The SPI bridge is configured to communicatively couple the first processor with the second processor through the galvanic isolation barrier, and to communicatively couple the first processor to the device through the first output pin control, and to route the signals between the first processor and the circuitry by using the first analog multiplexor control.
Abstract:
Provided herein are devices and system to magnetically, rotably secure a lens filter to a camera. Generally the devices and systems comprise a magnet assembly and a lens filter assembly threadably engageable. Also provided are magnetic lens filter systems comprising the engaged magnet and lens filter assemblies and an attachment assembly securable around a camera lens and magnetically attachable to the magnet comprising the magnetic lens filter, magnetic adapter assembly or magnetic adapter. Further provided are camera systems comprising the magnetic lens filter systems rotatably affixed thereto.
Abstract:
Provided herein are systems for engaging and transporting a camera, particularly a camera having a removable lens attached thereto. The systems generally comprise a combination of two adjustable straps working in concert. Particularly, a first adjustable strap comprises means to engage the removable lens, such as a ball connector/strap receiving component, a shoulder pad end and a strap end connected via a safety buckle and a slide disposed on the strap end. Optionally, in the system, the ball connector may be threaded to a mount plate which is threaded to the removable lens. The shoulder pad end has a connecting ring to removably connect the second adjustable strap that comprises a first adjustable strap part with a slide and a second strap part with a means for engaging the camera connectable by a safety buckle. Also provided is an adjustable camera strap comprising the second adjustable strap as described herein.
Abstract:
An interface circuit board apparatus can include a shared circuit board base, a transceiver section disposed on the circuit board base, and having circuit transceiver sites configured to receive a plurality of transceiver component types, a termination section disposed on the circuit board base, and having circuit termination sites configured to receive a plurality of termination component types, and a connection section operatively coupled to the transceiver and termination sections, wherein the transceiver section, the termination section and the connection section are configurable to support a plurality of interface types based on the plurality of transceiver component types and the plurality of termination component types.
Abstract:
Provided herein is a monopod or device for supporting a photographic instrument or accessory, such as a camera. The monopod or device comprises extendable members, e.g., an extendable mounting member with a mounting assembly and an extendable middle member with a threadably engagable, rotatable locking mechanism, a base member and an extension mechanism. The locking mechanism is configured to quickly lock the extendable members at an extended length or to collapse the same. The extension mechanism is disposed within the extendable and base members and secured independently to the same. This configuration enables a single smooth release with extending motion of the locking mechanism to telescopically extend or, conversely, collapse the extendable member portions of the monopod device.
Abstract:
Configurable analog input circuits are provided. An analog input circuit may include a plurality of configurable input channels, at least one analog-to-digital converter, and at least one processor. Each input channel may include a plurality of switches utilized to select a type of input signal received via the input channel and a set of input terminals selectively utilized to correspond with the selected type of input signal. The at least one analog-to-digital converter may be configured to convert, for each of the plurality of input channels, the selected type of input signal into a digital output. The at least one processor may be configured to control operation of the plurality of switches associated with each of the plurality of configurable input channels.
