The light absorption layer is distributed on an area substantially overlapping the notch structure, and the light source is stored in the notch structure.

    摘要: A displaying method for field sequential color displays using two color fields to produce a full color image is disclosed. The displaying method includes: providing a target full color image, displaying a first color field and displaying a second color field. The target full color image is formed by a first color image optical stimulus, a second color image optical stimulus and a third color image optical stimulus. The first color field displays the first color image optical stimulus and a first part of the third color image optical stimulus, while the second color field displays the second color image optical stimulus and a second part of the third color image optical stimulus, which compensates the shortage of the third color image optical stimulus in the first color field. The target full color image is generated by displaying the first and second color fields in sequence, so as to decrease the displaying frequency of field sequential color displays.

    摘要: A method of generating frame control signals for reducing reaction time comprises following steps: analyzing an input frame signal; generating a first reference liquid crystal control signal of a frame; setting a second liquid crystal control signal range and thereby generating a second reference liquid crystal control signal; generating a second backlight control signal according to the first reference liquid crystal control signal and the second reference liquid crystal control signal; and generating a second liquid crystal control signal of each pixel according to the second backlight control signal. By confining the second backlight control signal to the second liquid crystal control signal range, the reaction time of the liquid crystals is reduced and the frame quality of LCD devices is enhanced.

    摘要: An array panel is provided. The array panel includes a substrate, a common electrode, and pixel structures. Each pixel structure includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a shield. The first pixel electrode has a central portion, first branches that connect to the central portion, and a connecting portion. The shield overlaps with at least the central portion of the first pixel electrode. The connecting portion connects the ends of at least two of the first branches. The central portion connects perpendicularly with one of the first branches; this branch overlaps with at least part of the common electrode so that the width of this branch is greater than or equal to that of the common electrode. The second pixel electrode, adjacent to the first pixel electrode, comprises a central portion and second branches that connect to the central portion.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a liquid crystal lens and a manufacturing method thereof. At least one first electrode is disposed on a first substrate, a first alignment layer is disposed on the first electrode, a liquid crystal layer is disposed on the first alignment layer, a second alignment layer is disposed on the liquid crystal layer, an electric field uniformization layer is disposed on the second alignment layer, at least one second electrode and at least one third electrode are disposed on the electric field uniformization layer, and the second electrode is arranged around the third electrode. A second substrate is disposed on the second electrode and the third electrode. The third electrode which matches up with the second electrode produces an electric field gradient and the liquid crystal layer is affected uniformly by the electric field uniformization layer so as to achieve rapid focus purpose by the liquid crystal.
