The identification section is configured with identification recesses formed in a manner open to the end surface, and at least one of the positions, cross-sectional shapes, and lengths on the end surface of the identification recesses, is formed on the basis of the characteristic of the battery apparatus. The cross-sectional shape and length of the identification recess is formed on the basis of the characteristic of the battery apparatus.

The power supply system includes electronic equipment adapted to control power supply based on battery identification information from a battery installed in a battery housing section; and a power supply plate, the power supply plate including a plate main body installed in the battery housing section of the electronic equipment, and a cable, one end of which is connected to the plate main body and the other end of which is led through a lead-out hole of the battery housing section out of the electronic equipment, the other end also having a connector formed thereon which is connected to a power source, wherein power is supplied from the power source connected to the connector of the power supply plate to the electronic equipment.

The battery attachment section includes a flat attachment surface having a width corresponding to a width of a bottom surface of a case of the battery to be charged and a length greater than a length of the bottom surface of the case of the battery to be charged; a plurality of locking hooks provided on the attachment surface; a charger terminal configured to contact a terminal of the battery to be charged, the charger terminal including a plurality of plate-shaped contact pieces configured to be inserted into engaging grooves of the battery to be charged; and an attachment projection adjacent to the attachment surface and configured to secure the battery to the charger.

摘要: A battery apparatus and an electronic equipment are provided which permit the use of a plurality of types of battery apparatuses that differ in capacity, and are advantageous in improving ease of use. A case of a battery apparatus has a main body portion and a bottom portion disposed at one side in a thickness direction at the midpoint in a width direction of the main body portion. Portions on both sides in the width direction of the case are formed as flat side surfaces that are parallel to each other and extend in a length direction. A plane on one side in the thickness direction of the case is formed as a flat bottom surface. At portions of the case on both sides in the width direction, guide grooves are formed which extend in the length direction and engage projections disposed at a battery housing chamber thereby to position the position of the case in the thickness direction within the battery housing chamber.
