摘要： The invention provides a polyester produced in the presence of a polycondensation catalyst comprising at least one compound selected from a group consisting of aluminum compounds and at least one compound selected from a group consisting of phosphorus compounds and being excellent in color tone, thermal stability, and transparency and improved in terms of insoluble particles. Particularly, the invention provides a polyester in which the content of an aluminum containing insoluble particles in the polyester is 3500 ppm or lower and a polyester which has a haze value of 2% or lower when being formed into a monoaxially oriented film. The aluminum catalyst for attaining these characteristics and properties may be polyester polymerization catalyst obtained by mixing an aluminum compound and a phosphorus compound in a solvent and has specified spectral characteristics in the side measurement of 31P-NMR spectrum and 27Al-NMR spectrum.

摘要： A polyester composition comprising 99.9 to 80 wt % of a thermoplastic polyester containing an antimony compound and 0.1 to 20 wt % of a partially aromatic polyamide, wherein a 4 mm-thick molded plate formed by molding the thermoplastic polyester at 290° C. has a haze value of 10% or lower, and wherein the phosphorus atom content in the partially aromatic polyamide (P1), the partially aromatic polyamide content in the polyester composition (A), and the antimony atom content in the thermoplastic polyester (S) satisfy a specific formula, wherein a 4 mm-thick molded plate produced by molding the polyester composition at 290° C. has a haze value of 20% or lower. The polyester composition can be molded into a hollow molded article (e.g., a bottle) at a high productivity rate, which is not deteriorated in transparency or color, and which is excellent in flavor-conserving property, thermal stability and gas-barrier property.

摘要： An oriented syndiotactic polystyrene-based film composed of an oriented film made of a syndiotactic styrene polymer and an adhesiveness-improving layer formed from a specific water-dispersible resin on at least one surface of the oriented film, which is excellent in the tight adhesion between the oriented film and the adhesiveness-improving layer, the adhesion between the adhesiveness-improving layer and an ink layer or laminate layer applied thereon, economical efficiency, recyclability, and environmental compatibility in production. It is particularly preferable that the film be produced by applying the aqueous dispersion of the water-dispersible resin on unstretched or uniaxially stretched film to form the adhesiveness-improving layer, stretching the obtained laminate uni- or bi-axially at least one time, and then heat-treating the resulting laminate.
