摘要： Provided is a transporting device including: upstream-side upper and lower belts that transport a signature; downstream-side upper and lower belts that communicate with the upstream-side upper and lower belts, that run at a slower speed than that of the upstream-side upper and lower belts, and that receive the signature from the upstream-side upper and lower belts to transport the signature; and slowdown wheels including stoppers that come out on the transporting path of the signature between the downstream-side upper and lower belts so as to abut on the forward edge portion of the signature in the transporting direction thereof, the transporting device provided with pressing cams including pressing surfaces that press the downstream-side lower belt towards the downstream-side upper belt while the stoppers of the slowdown wheels abut on the forward edge portion of the signature in the transporting direction thereof.

摘要： In a paper delivery apparatus of the type wherein printed paper is cut into sections having a predetermined length and cut papers are delivered in the horizontal direction to be horizontally laminated on a pedestal, there are provided delivered paper guide belts with their lower runs running in a direction of paper delivery and a rotating brush roller provided at one end of the delivered paper guide belts. The rotating brush roller is implanted with a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart bristle bundles and rotated in a direction to press down the delivered paper onto the pedestal. According to this invention, it is not only possible to cause the papers to fall down while maintaining them at an horizontal attitude but also to eliminate curls formed at the ends of the delivered papers, thus neatly aligning the ends of the laminated papers.

摘要： A red-hot type oil burner capable of effectively accomplishing uniform vaporization of a fuel oil during the normal combustion operation. A heat transfer means is provided between a combustion chamber and a vaporization chamber to transmit a part of combustion heat to the vaporization chamber. The oil burner may be provided in a mixing chamber with a diffusion plate having a cutout to allow the ignition to be rapidly and safely effected. The oil burner may be also provided with a device for preventing the generation of a bad odor. There is also disclosed a red-hot type oil burner capable of surely confirming the completion of the igniting and fire extinguishing operations.

摘要： In a printer that is connected to a host personal computer via an external recording device through parallel interfaces, a signal that has been received from the host personal computer is detected by an ASIC at specified sampling cycles and to allow an interrupt in case it is detected that this signal is a signal for instructing start of communication; in case the interrupt has been made while printing actions are being executed, a CPU notifies the host personal computer of a busy condition; in case no response is given from the host personal computer, the signal for instructing start of communication is invalidated. With this arrangement, it is made possible to accurately detect whether a received signal is correct or not and malfunctions owing to incorrect signals leaking out from the external recording device to the printer can be prevented.
