Disclosed is a multinuclear transition metal half metallocene catalyst having a multinuclear half metallocene structure in which a transition metal of groups 3 to 10 on periodic table is connected to a cycloalkandienyl group or its derivative group on a side and also connected to phenol or phenolamine compound having a plurality of binding sites on another side. The metallocene catalyst is useful to produce syndiotatic styrene polymer having superior steroreguality, high melting point and broad molecular weight distribution with high activity together with a small amount of a cocatalyst. Further disclosed is a method for preparing styrene polymers using the same catalyst.

The present invention relates to a multinuclear metallocene catalyst for olefin polymerization and a process for olefin polymerization using the same, in which the multinuclear metallocene catalyst for olefin polymerization comprises, as a main catalyst, a transition metal compound that contains at least two metal atoms in the groups III to X of the periodic table as central metals and a ligand having a cyclopentadienyl structure bridging between the two metal atoms, and, as a cocatalyst, an aluminoxane compound, an organoaluminum compound or a bulky compound reactive to the transition metal compound to impart a catalytic activity to the transition metal compound.

The present invention relates to an organotin compound represented by R1O—Sn—OR2 (where R1 and R2 are independently a primary, secondary, or tertiary alkyl group having 5 to 30 carbon atoms), a preparation method thereof, and a preparation method for polylactide using the organotin compound. The organotin compound of the present invention is easy to prepare and is used to prepare a polylactide resin having a high molecular weight at a high yield without using a separate initiator.
