    摘要: A capacitor element includes an anode foil, the first oxide film on a surface of the anode foil, a solid electrolyte layer formed using π-conjugated conductive polymer dispersing material on the first oxide film, and a cathode foil on the solid electrolyte layer. The cathode foil faces the first oxide film across the solid electrolyte layer. An electrolytic capacitor includes the capacitor element, an anode terminal connected to the anode foil, and a second oxide film on a surface of the anode terminal. The second oxide film provided on the anode terminal has higher water repellency than the first oxide film provided on the anode foil. This electrolytic capacitor can reduce a leakage current.

    摘要: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an electrolyte solution impregnated into the capacitor element. The capacitor element includes an anode foil, cathode foil, separator, and a solid electrolytic layer. The anode foil has a dielectric layer on its surface, and the cathode foil confronts the anode foil. The separator is interposed between the anode foil and the cathode foil. The solid electrolytic layer is formed on the surfaces of the anode foil, cathode foil, and separator as an aggregate of fine particles of conductive polymer. The separator has an air-tightness not greater than 2.0 s/100 ml. Sizes of the fine particles measure not greater than 100 nm in diameter, and the fine particles are contained in an amount ranging from 0.3 mg/cm2 to 1.2 mg/cm2 converted to amounts per unit area of the anode foil.

The functional element has first and second end surfaces having circular shapes and a side surface having a cylindrical shape extending along a center axis. The element includes first and second electrode foils rolled about the center axis and exposed from the first and second surfaces, respectively. The outer package has first and second surfaces parallel to the first and second end surfaces of the functional element, and has first to fourth corners as seen from a direction of the center axis. The first corner is adjacent to the second corner. The first and second terminals are arranged at the first and second corners of the outer package, respectively. This electronic component can have a small size and a small height while reducing its equivalent series resistance.

    摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor has a capacitor element and a conductive polymer as a solid electrolyte. The capacitor element includes an anode foil having a dielectric oxide film thereon, a cathode foil, and a separator interposed between the anode and cathode foils, which are wound so as to form a capacitor element. The conductive polymer is disposed between the anode and cathode foils and formed by chemical polymerization of a polymerizable monomer. The separator is made of a nonwoven fabric of synthetic fiber and has an affinity to the polymerizable monomer. The separator includes main fibers and binder fibers each having a fiber diameter smaller than that of each of the main fibers and allowing the main fibers to be bonded together.
