摘要: A distress signal sender and a distress signal receiver receive beacon-name generation parameters and generate a beacon name based at least in part on the received parameters, the beacon name representing a network location. Responsive to detecting an unexpected lack of access to network communications, the distress signal sender sends a beacon message to the generated beacon name, the beacon message describing a security state of the client. The distress signal receiver detects the beacon message sent by the distress signal sender, and responsive to receiving the beacon message, performs a remedial action.

摘要: An organic light emitting device having an anode, a cathode and an organic layer between the anode and the cathode is provided. The organic layer comprises a carbene-metal complex having the structure: where R may be halo, hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, substituted aryl, substituted heteroaryl, or a heterocyclic group; and additionally or alternatively, two or more R groups on the same ring form independently a 5 or 6-member cyclic group, which may be cycloalkyl, cycloheteroalkyl, aryl or heteroaryl; and which may be substituted by one or more substituents J; and J may be R′, CN, CF3, C(O)OR′, C(O)R′, C(O)NR′2, NR′2, NO2, OR′, SR′, SO2, SOR′, or SO3R′, and additionally or alternatively, two J groups on adjacent ring atoms form a fused 5- or 6-membered aromatic group; each R′ may be halo, H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, heteroalkyl, aralkyl, aryl and heteroaryl.

摘要: Method for monitoring an online identity of a user on a network is described. In one example, data exchanged between a browser client on a device associated with the user and the network is monitored. Creation or use of an online identity by the user is detected within the data. The online identity is associated with a host site. The host site may be any of a plurality of point of presence sites. A notification of the online identity is generated for presentation to a custodian of the user. The notification may then be sent to the custodian.

摘要: In general, this disclosure describes techniques of efficiently generating digital versions of financial documents from physical versions of the financial documents. As described herein, one or more financial documents may be inserted into one or more pockets of an envelope. The envelope is sufficiently transparent to allow both sides the financial documents to be scanned with a digital image capture device. Furthermore, the envelope is sized in such that the envelope, with the financial documents, may be individually fed into the digital image capture device by an automatic document feeder that is capable of feeding individual pages having a standard paper size into the digital image capture device. After inserting the financial documents into the pockets of the envelope, digital images of the financial documents may be captured. The digital images of the financial documents may then be processed and transmitted to a financial institution.
