    摘要: A stain resistant no-mix orthodontic adhesive is disclosed. The adhesive comprises:(a) a first component having a relatively low viscosity and which contains an acrylic or methacrylic diester of ethoxylated bisphenol-A, an acrylic or methacrylic diester of an alkanediol, and benzyl acrylate or methacrylate; and(b) a second component containing a filler and an acrylic or methacrylic diester of ethoxylated bisphenol-A, an acrylic or methacrylic diester of an alkanediol, and benzyl methacrylate or acrylate, said filler being present in an amount within the range of from about 50 to about 80 weight percent of said second component,wherein, one of said first and second components contains a perioxide catalyst and the other of said components contains a tertiary amine activator for said peroxide catalyst.

    摘要: The invention relates to a positive-working colored photosensitive recording material for the production of a color test image, composed of a temporary layer carrier, a photosensitive layer containing dyestuff or pigment, binder and quinonediazide compound and an adhesive layer which can be activated by means of heat, wherein a release layer based on polyvinyl alcohol is present on the surface of the temporary layer carrier, the photosensitive layer comprises, as the quinonediazide compound, an esterification product of a compound containing one or more phenolic hydroxyl groups and o-quinonediazide-sulfonyl chloride, and, as the binder, a novolak-free phenolic polymer resin and/or a reaction product of the phenolic polymer resin with a monoisocyanate, and the adhesive layer comprises a alkali-insoluble organic polymer and an alkali-soluble polyester. The invention also relates to a process for the production of a color test image using the recording material described.

    摘要: The present invention relates to water soluble open time extenders, which are mixed with an architectural coating, such as aqueous latex paints, to increase the coating's open time and crosslink to the architectural coating upon drying. The open time extender comprises neutralized water soluble polymers with hydrophobic, hydrophilic and cross-linkable monomers, and at least one crosslinking agent. The open time extender also comprises water and the total solid content of the open time extender is less than about 25% by weight.

    摘要: Chemically blended thermoplastic interpenetrating polymer network compositions, of improved physical and mechanical properties as compared to their mechanically blended counterparts, are produced by forming a solution or mixture of polymeric components and polymerizing in situ, with materials capable of forming physical crosslinks, through mechanisms including block copolymers, ionomeric crosslinking and the incorporation of crystalline regions in semicrystalline homopolymers. The resultant products are in the nature of thermoset materials at room temperature but become thermoplastic at elevated temperatures.
