The assembly also includes a second member distinct from the first member that is formed of a second electrically conductive material. The assembly further includes a contact spring formed of a third electrically conductive material disposed within the aperture. The contact spring is in physical and electrical contact with the first and second members. The contact spring has a planar base portion, an arcuate portion extending from the base portion in contact with the second member, and two winged portions extending from distal edges of the base portion. The two winged portions flank the base portion. Each of the two winged portions are in contact with an inner surface of the aperture.

The conductor has a first-side that overlays a second-side and defines a U-shaped bend and a gap between the first-side and the second side. The U-shaped bend is aligned parallel to and opposite the spine. The conductor includes a conductive stand-off located intermediate the first side and the second side of the conductor. The conductive stand-off is disposed within the slot of the web such that the first-side and the second-side are in further electrical contact through the conductive stand-off.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly includes a shielded wire cable having an inner core, an inner insulator surrounding the inner core, a cable shield surrounding the inner insulator, and an outer insulator surrounding the cable shield, a terminal attached to the inner core, a terminal shield surrounding the terminal, and a cable seal formed of an electrically conductive resilient material, wherein a first portion of the cable seal is in compressive contact with portions of the cable shield and the terminal shield, thereby providing an electrically conductive path between the cable shield and the terminal shield. The electrical connector assembly further includes a housing in which the terminal is disposed. A second portion of the cable seal is in compressive contact with a portion of the outer insulator and an inner wall of the housing, thereby inhibiting intrusion of contaminants into the housing.

    摘要: A connector assembly includes a first-housing, a second-housing, and a seal. The second-housing is configured to mate with the first-housing. The second-housing has a seal-support surface having a first-surface and a second-surface perpendicular to the first-surface and generally forming an L-shape. The seal-support surface includes a plurality of seal-hangers projecting laterally from the first-surface. The seal is in direct contact with the seal-support surface. The seal defines a wall and a lip extending laterally from the wall. The wall defines an inner-surface that engages the first-surface and an outer-surface that engages the first-housing. The wall further defines a plurality of apertures configured to receive the plurality of seal-hangers. The lip defines a base that engages the second-surface and a top that engages a leading-edge of the first-housing. The plurality of seal-hangers are configured to inhibit bunching or rolling of the wall when the first-housing is mated with the second-housing.
