    摘要: A transparent inorganic intermediate layer extends between a color filter layer and a phosphor layer in a color display device. The intermediate layer stops electrons before they can penetrate the color filter layer. Aging phenomena which adversely affect the effectiveness of the color filter layer are thus precluded. It is alternatively possible to use hitherto useless pigments, in particular pigments which are unstable when they are exposed to an electron bombardment in the color filter layer (or layers). By virtue thereof, the effectiveness of the color filter layer has been increased.

    摘要: A color display device is provided with a black-matrix layer, a phosphor pattern and color-filter layers. The theological behavior of the suspension and/or the evaporation of volatile constituents is influenced by the topology of the color-filter layers, with, in particular, projecting color-filter layers exerting an influence. As a result, variations in thickness between the phosphor layers occur. By reducing the differences in height between a projecting color-filter layer and the black-matrix layer, the variations in thickness between the phosphor layers are reduced and hence the quality of the picture displayed is improved.

    摘要: A display device comprises a color filter pattern between a phosphor pattern and a display window. For blue, the thickness (t2) of this color filter pattern is more than 2.5 micrometer, preferably 5-7 micrometer, and/or for red said thickness is 0.25-1.5 micrometer. The red and/or blue color filter patterns are provided by means of a non-linear photoresist. This enables an improved contrast (LCP) to be achieved.
