摘要: The objective of the present invention is to suppress the occurrence of flickering and to reduce the power consumption of a display device. A liquid crystal display device that is an embodiment of the present invention splits one frame into a plurality of fields and performs interlaced driving, and has a timing controller that, with a predetermined number of selected pixels in the direction of a scanning line and a signal line as units, is for reversing the polarity of a data signal applied to selected pixels in a field in a manner so that there is the same number of positive and negative polarities of the data signal applied to the selected pixels disposed along a signal line, and is for reversing the polarity in a manner such that the polarity of the data signal applied to the selected pixels changes for each frame.

摘要: An input device includes a display unit and a touch panel provided to the display unit. In at least one embodiment, the input device further includes: a finger image generation section which generates respective images of, among a plurality of fingers pressing on the touch panel, a first finger and a second finger adjacent to the first finger; and a display process section which displays on the display unit a plurality of input images corresponding to a distance between two images generated by the finger image generation section and respective sizes of the two images. This allows the input device including the touch panel to adjust, as a result of a single setting, the input images to be appropriate for sizes of fingers and a size of a hand of the user.

摘要: A headlamp apparatus for a vehicle accurately detects a straight steering position in a steering device of the vehicle, thereby controlling a light distribution characteristic of a headlamp of the vehicle. In a headlamp apparatus for a vehicle including a controller for controlling a light distribution of a headlamp based on a steering angle of a steering device of the vehicle, the controller detects a straight steering position based on an origin position signal obtained when each of wheel speeds SPDL and SPDR of left and right wheels (front wheels 3LF and 3RF) of the vehicle is at least a reference value α and a difference in the speed is equal to or lower than a reference value β on the basis of an origin position signal PZ to be output from the steering device for each rotation of a steering wheel and the difference in the speed.

摘要: An air compressor comprises a compressor main body, and a capacity adjusting apparatus connected to an intake side of the compressor main body for adjusting the intake air flow into the compressor main body. The capacity adjusting apparatus is provided in an intake pipe. The intake pipe is adjacent to a discharge pipe of the compressor. A communicating passage is formed in the adjacent portion so as to introduce the compressed air discharged from the discharge pipe into the intake pipe system. The intake pipe is provided with an opening port for limiting the intake air flow into the compressor main body. The capacity adjusting apparatus opens and closes the communicating passage and the opening by means of an intake port switch valve and a discharge ventilating port switch valve which are provided in an end portion of the capacity adjusting apparatus.
