摘要： A two-speed motor is mounted in a housing with an end cap. The end cap has a tubular structure defining an interior space, including an open first end connectable to the motor casing. The second end includes at least one planar surface and at least one air grate configured to permit airflow into and/or out of the interior space. A dual speed pump controller includes a motor controller for operating the dual speed motor. The controller includes an operating speed circuit for operating the motor in one of a first speed or a second speed, the first speed being greater than the second speed; an event circuit for operating the motor at the first speed before a predetermined event and operating the pump at the second speed after the predetermined event.

摘要： A filter apparatus includes a filter, such as a cartridge, positioned within a housing. The filter apparatus has multiple ports and valves, so as to allow a user to easily switch between a filtration mode of filtering fluids and a maintenance mode of cleaning the filter. The filter can have a filter substrate in a housing and after filtrate builds up on the substrate, the substrate can be cleaned by directing a spray of fluid, such as from a ring of nozzles at the top of the housing, onto the substrate. A maintenance port can be provided to drain the debris washed from the substrate. The filter can switch between a backwash mode and a filtration mode.

摘要： A filter apparatus is disclosed herein that includes a filter, such as a cartridge, positioned within a housing. The housing includes a lower-section housing and a cover assembly removably attached to the lower-section housing. The filter apparatus has multiple ports and valves, such as a valve associated with the cover assembly, so as to allow a user to easily switch between various operations on a pool filter, such as between a backwash mode and a filtration mode. The filter apparatus also employs a cage positioned around the cartridge, thereby between the housing and the filter. The cage provides additional support to the cartridge so as to reduce wear and tear of the cartridge. The cover is rotatable about the lower-section housing so as to allow a user to position ports on the cover in any direction.
