    摘要: Disclosed is a Personal Electronic Device (PED) positioning apparatus that stows within a tray table. An articulated holder includes a crossbar arm that slides on at least one support shaft to a position where a crossbar can be rotate to provide an angled surface relative to the tray table to support a PED. When stowed, the crossbar presents a minimal profile with respect to the tray table. The exposed surface of the crossbar can be made to match the color and appearance of the tray table so that the apparatus has minimal visual impact.

Cable assemblies pass high voltage power down in daisy chain fashion to various seat groups. Connector elements contain current limiting circuitry which provides low voltage power for distribution to seat electronic components via small gauge wire. Compared to previous systems, embodiments may have a marked reduction in installed weight, encroachment on passenger space, easier installation and reduced impact on seat structures.

    摘要: A system has a power source connected to power access points and at least one environmental control system. A threshold compare device is effective to compare the proportional load on the environmental control systems to a preset threshold. If the threshold is exceeded, unused power access points are disabled. This prevents such access points from placing additional loads on the environmental control systems. Conversely, when the proportional load on the environmental control systems drops below a preset threshold, power can be restored to the disabled power access points. A master control unit can monitor the load on the environmental control systems and either or both the environmental conditions in environment zones or the power loading of the power access points and determine whether to disable unused power outlets.

    摘要: A fastening tool has a centrally disposed rod with a shaped tip at a first end thereof and an enlarged second end effective to transfer force from an external source to the tool. A collar circumscribes the centrally disposed rod. A first end of the collar is adjacent to the shaped tip and an opposing second end of the collar terminates in an outwardly extending flange. A compressible spring is disposed between the enlarged second end of the centrally disposed rod and the outwardly extending flange of the collar. This tool provides simplified installation of swage-type hardware into a stack of two or more panels by providing both a clamping force and a swaging operation in a single stroke.
