摘要： A paper sheet manipulating apparatus and a paper sheet transaction apparatus for manipulating paper sheets such as bills includes an inlet/outlet port allowing input and output of paper sheets and rotating between the paper sheets inlet position and the paper sheet feeding position; a separating means projected to the outlet port and drawn back to the draw-back position, distinguish, when projected, the paper sheets inputted to the inlet port and the paper sheets to be returned and accommodate the paper sheets into the outlet port; an accommodation section for accommodating the paper sheets; a temporary storing section for temporarily storing the paper sheets which should not be accommodated in the accommodation section or should not be exhausted and a plurality of cassettes for feeding and collecting the paper sheets in the accommodation section and for feeding and collecting the paper sheets in the outlet port, whereby a fault is little generated and manipulations can be continued at a high speed for a long period of time without any pause even if a fault is generated.

摘要： A card reader has a main body and a card reader unit provided within the main body for executing at least one of recording and reproducing data on a card inserted in the card reader unit. A first communication unit is provided within the main body for executing at least one of inputting and outputting a signal, a power supply unit is provided within the main body for supplying electric power to each unit, and a controller is provided within the main body for controlling each unit. An accessory device can be removably attached to the main body for having at least one of the functions among a printing function, a data communicating function and a display function. A second communication unit is provided within the accessory device for having at least one of the functions of receiving a signal from the first communication unit and sending a signal to the first communication unit.

摘要： A card reader is provided inside of a body cover which has a card transfer path, a card transfer mechanism including a series of card transfer rollers and driven rollers, and a second antenna unit defining a wireless communication device which is positioned between the card transfer path and the body cover (1). Thus, wireless transmission and reception of data can be executed with the second antenna unit by bringing a card having a first antenna unit in close proximity to a card access area provided on the body cover, and also by inserting the card in the card transfer path.

摘要： A method of making a thin-film magnetic head having a multi-turn structure includes forming a lower magnetic layer on a substrate, and successively forming a first insulating layer and a first conductive layer over the lower magnetic layer. Then, a first coil patterned mask is formed on the first conductive layer, and an ion beam is applied onto a structure formed by the foregoing steps. The ion beam simultaneously etches the first insulating layer and first conductive layer so that a first coil patterned double-layer is formed. Then, a second insulating layer is formed followed by an upper magnetic layer, over the first coil patterned double-layer. Thus, a magnetic gap is formed between the lower and upper magnetic layers defined by the thickness of the second insulating layer.
