摘要： A method of measuring changes in the area surrounding a mining cavity in which a rod-like anchor is rigidly embedded in a bore hole of such cavity. The changes in the strata are measured in several planes distributed over the length of the anchor by sensors, which are mounted on the outside of the anchor at axially spaced intervals and dimension and speed of changes in the strata are detected on the outside of the bore hole from connections to the sensors.

摘要： A measuring anchor for measuring changes in the area surrounding a mining cavity constitutes an elongate rod-like member rigidly embedded by adhesive in a bore hole of such cavity. On the external surface of the rod-like member are diametrically opposed external recessed portions, such as grooves or flattened portions. Arranged respectively in axially spaced intervals on the outer side of the rod-like member and in pairs opposite each other in the recessed portions are sensors constituting strain gages for measuring changes in the strata surrounding same in several planes distributed over the length of the member. Strips cover the strain gages and are shaped to conform to that of the rod-like member. The sensors have leads which extend to the outside.

摘要： A device for measuring changes in rock formations in a mining cavity employing elongate tubes fixed by adhesive in bore holes in opposite walls so that they align axially. The tubes are measuring anchors and each contains a series of axially spaced sensors in the form of strain gages in external recessed portions. Fixed in each tube is a thin tube and these terminate at their outer ends in a convergence transmitter unit, suitable connections being established between the gages and the transmitter unit. Perpendicular to this arrangement is a similar assembly of measuring anchors, thin tubes and a convergence transmitter unit so that convergence of the formation in a mining cavity and elongation values can be determined.
