摘要: Gas cooking appliances having glass or glass-ceramic plates for cooking surfaces also having gas-radiation burners that are positioned below the plate or atmospheric burners that are recessed in the plate. With gas radiation burners, care must be taken to ensure a thermally advantageous discharge of exhaust gases that are produced and with atmospheric burners, care must be taken to ensure an adequate supply of primary air. Accordingly, the glass or glass-ceramic plate forming the cooking surface is partially bent out of the cooking surface plane to form an adhesive-free exhaust air duct or fresh air opening in the bent area. The exhaust air duct and fresh air opening are free of ventilation lattices.

摘要: The lighting apparatus, especially a reading lamp, has a light source (48), a movable cover (24) to which the light source (48) is fastened, an adjusting element (21) that cooperates with the cover (24), a bearing unit (26) for supporting the cover (24) and an adjusting ring (21). The cover (24) and light source (48) are movable around a longitudinal axis (L) of the lighting apparatus (10) by actuating the adjusting element (21) and the cover (24) and light source (48) are moveable around a transverse axis (Q) extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L) by actuating the cover (24). The lighting apparatus in the form of the reading lamp is particularly useful aboard aircraft, ships, trains, automobiles, or other vehicles.

摘要: A non-magnetic, ceramic one-component toner which is transferred onto a glass, glass ceramics or ceramics substrate or a similar solid or flexible substrate by electrophotographic printing and is burnt into in a subsequent temperature process. The one-component toner includes a synthetic matrix and a portion of substantially inorganic foreign matter. The portion of foreign matter includes exclusively non-magnetic particles and amounts to 40 to 70% by weight, especially 50 to 60% by weight, with the specific charge of the toner particles in a range of >25 μCk/g.

摘要: The microwave unit door includes a metallic door frame (1) with an interior glass pane (3) and outer glass pane (2) held spaced apart in it. To improve the observability of the interior of the microwave unit without loosing the microwave shielding effect, e.g. previously provided by a metal screen between the glass panes, and to prevent condensate formation, the interior glass pane (3) closest to the processing space (I) has at least one optically transparent electrically conductive first layer (13) with a microwave absorption capability such that it heats up to prevent condensate formation during operation. The outer glass pane (2) has at least one optically transparent electrically conductive second layer (12) reflecting microwaves passing through the first layer.

摘要: The invention pertains to a method for printing on a thermoplastic material, wherein a coloring agent is applied to the surface of the material and is subsequently caused to harden. In order to achieve permanent coloration of the material to be printed, the method according to this invention provides that as coloring agent, a toner featuring thermoplastic toner particles is applied by electrographic or electrostatic means to the surface of the material, and that the toner and/or at least a portion of the surface of the material is brought into a reactive state in that the toner makes a permanent bond with the surface.

摘要: The method of cooking in and subsequently cleaning a pyrolytically self-cleaning baking oven includes providing a glass-ceramic baking oven accessory and glass-ceramic cooking vessel for cooking in the self-cleaning baking oven, which have as small as possible a linear thermal expansion coefficient and sufficient temperature stability to remain without damage in the self-cleaning baking oven during pyrolytic self-cleaning of the self-cleaning oven. The glass-ceramic material of the baking oven accessory and cooking vessel has a linear thermal expansion coefficient of less than or equal to 3×10−6/k and a specific thermal stress of less than 0.25 or 0.23 MPa/K with a temperature stability of greater than 500° C. or 550° C. Then after cooking and during self-cleaning of the baking oven the baking oven accessory and the baking oven cooking vessel are placed within the self-cleaning baking oven for cleaning so that a separate manual cleaning is unnecessary.

摘要: Cooktops with a glass or glass ceramic cooking surface include the usual multiple cooking zones and functional elements, like operating elements, display, etc. The cooking surface exhibits recesses, in which the operational zones, assigned to the elements, are mounted flush with the cooking surface. The operational zones are formed preferably by a glass or glass ceramic part, which is embedded in the cooking surface by means of a temperature stable, sealing connection. The cooking surface exhibits operational zones in the form of weighing, display and operating element zones.
