摘要: The invention is directed to an optical scanning device with two scanning mirrors and with optical elements for imaging the two scanning mirrors one onto the other by means of an intermediate image. A control unit is provided for supplying drives which are coupled to the scanning mirrors with excitation voltages or excitation currents to initiate deflection angles ranging from zero to the maximum possible deflection angle for the two scanning mirrors. At least one of the scanning mirrors is designed for biaxial scanning, and the control unit is designed to vary the driving of the two scanning mirrors with respect to biaxial or uniaxial deflection of the beam bundle electively in quasistatic or resonant mode of operation. At least one of the two scanning mirrors is preferably designed as MEMS assembly.

摘要: An ophthalmologic apparatus and a method for the contactless observation, examination, treatment, and/or diagnosis of an eye. The apparatus is structurally based on a fundus camera or an ophthalmoscope. An illumination beam path extends from a first illumination source to the eye and is fitted with a perforated mirror and imaging optics, and an observation beam path extends from the eye to a detector via the imaging optics and through the perforated mirror. The arrangement additionally comprises a beam path for scanning illumination which extends from a second illumination source to the eye and is fitted with a scanning unit, a lens, and a beam splitter in addition to the imaging optics. The scanning unit that is arranged in the beam path for scanning illumination is designed as (an) electrostatically or/and galvanometrically driven bidirectional or unidirectional tilting mirror(s).

摘要: The invention is a cable assembly in which the ripcord is bonded or woven to the cable assembly's armor tape. This arrangement helps to prevent the ripcords from moving from their initial position, therefore allowing better dissection of a cable sheath and/or jacket. The cable assembly includes a cable core (e.g., soft buffer tubes surrounding optical fibers), a tape surrounding the cable core, at least one ripcord attached to the tape, and a cable jacket surrounding the tape. In a second embodiment of the present invention, a cable assembly includes a cable core having a predetermined axial length, a cable jacket for housing the cable core along the predetermined axial length of the cable core, and a ripcord disposed between the cable core and the cable jacket along the predetermined axial length, in a manner that the ripcord is contained within the predetermined axial length, but the ripcord has a length substantially longer that the predetermined axial length. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the ripcord is disposed along the predetermined axial length in a wavy shape, thus the ripcord is made “flexible”, alleviating damage to the cable assembly that can occur from ripcord tension.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for accessing a fiber from a bundle of fibers disposed in a sheath. The method comprises several steps which include cutting the sheath circumferentially at a leading position as well as circumferentially at a trailing position to divide the sheath into a leading section, a mid-section and a trailing section. The sheath is spread along the axis of the sheath between the leading section and the mid-section to create a first access opening. A fiber to be accessed is cut at the first access opening. The leading section and mid-section are pushed together to close the first access opening. The sheath is spread along the axis of the sheath between the mid-section and the trailing section to create a second access opening wherein the fiber is pulled from the mid-section of the sheath so that it extends out of the second access opening. The mid-section and trailing section of the sheath are pushed together to close the second access opening while the fiber is permitted to extend out of the trailing cut. Tape may be placed around the cuts to physically join the sections of the sheath and to seal out contaminants.

摘要: The invention relates to a tilting device that makes it possible to tilt around at least one axis, with a tilting member, a base member, and an elongated holding device arranged beneath the tilting member. At least two stabilizing members, of rectangular shape, are installed, offset from each other, on the base member. Connecting members between the holding device and the stabilizing members engage the holding device at different heights. During movement of at least one stabilizing member, at least another stabilizing member remains rigidly fixed at one location.

摘要: A spacer for bricks of a facing brickwork placed in front of an inner brickwork, whereby the spacer can be universally used and at the end of the bricklaying work can be removed from the mortar joints of the front of the wall, so that it does not constitute a disposable part and can be reused. Such a spacer includes a unitary body having two contact surfaces in a common plane and below the contact surfaces nominal width stops in two parallel planes perpendicular to the contact surfaces and nominal depth stops are located in two further parallel planes perpendicular both to the plane of the contact surfaces and to the planes of the nominal width stops for adjacent bricks, with the distance between the planes corresponding to the nominal depth of the distance between the facing brickwork and the inner brickwork. The nominal depth stops extending between two adjacent bricks of the facing brickwork on the one hand and the inner brickwork to be faced on the other.
