    摘要: A boom assembly has an upright stand with a vertical hollow post and on top of which is mounted an elongated hollow boom adjustable in orientation in both vertical and horizontal directions. A linear extention member for the boom is also in the form of a hollow tube. The stand includes a plurality of legs each in the form of a hollow tube and there are a plurality of foot elements such as casters. The different parts of the assembly are secured together by couplings that preferably are the same in each case. Such couplings include a hollow body with an exterior surface of a size and shape to be inserted within an adjacent hollow tube. A pair of laterally-opposite slots continue longitudinally inward from one end of the body. A lateral spreader is of a size and shape to be located within that one end of the body. A lever has one end portion inserted within the spreader to effect spreading thereof upon lateral deflection of the other end of the lever. Carried by the body are adjustable means located inwardly of the open end portion of the body for laterally deflecting the other end of the lever.

    摘要: Portable, collapsible, adjustable support apparatus is described comprising first and second tubular members which are telescopically connected. A base member including pivoting legs is preferably attached to the lower end of the first tubular member. The second tubular member includes engagement means which is adapted to releasably engage the interior surface of the first tubular member. Release means carried by the second tubular member may be actuated by one hand to raise or lower the second tubular member with respect to the first tubular member. A locking system is also described which is adapted to releasably lock pivotable leg members to a base member. The leg members may be locked in either an upward or downward position.

    摘要: A collapsible keyboard stand is described which also serves as its own carrying case. The keyboard stand includes (a) an upright support column which includes a cavity at each end, (b) a handle member attached to the column between its upper and lower ends, (c) an openable cover at the upper end of the column, (d) at least two arm members detachably mounted on the support column to define a horizontal support for a keyboard, (e) at least three leg members pivotably attached to the lower end of the support column. The leg members are pivotable to a position parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support column and can be slidably received within the lower end of the support column for storage. The arm members can be detached and placed into a cavity at the upper end of the column for storage and transport. The leg members support the column in a manner such that it leans forwardly.
