Abstract: A vehicle including a number of adjustable parts each configured to be adjusted by a motor, a sensor configured to detect a first gesture performed by a first person in a first sensor area indicative of a number of operating events, and a controller configured to, responsive to receiving the first gesture from the sensor, provide the first person a first operating event option and a second operating event option to select either a first operating event or a second operating event, and responsive to receiving a second gesture indicative of a selection of the first operating event, command a first motor to adjust a first adjustable part of the number of adjustable parts.

Abstract: A method for detecting a living being on a seat of a vehicle, further relating to a detection arrangement and to a vehicle. The method may include emitting electromagnetic waves at predetermined frequency or at a predetermined frequency band towards the seat by an electromagnetic radiator, receiving electromagnetic waves reflected on a surface by a sensor, detecting an object on the seat from a transit time of the emitted and the reflected electromagnetic waves between the radiator, the surface and the sensor by a detection device, detecting movements of the object from the reflected electromagnetic waves by the detection device if an object has been detected, determining from the detected movements of the object whether the detected object is a living being, and outputting a detection signal by way of the detection device if it has been determined that the detected object is a living being.

Abstract: A method for monitoring the interior of a vehicle including emitting electromagnetic waves of at least one frequency or at least one frequency band towards at least one seat arranged in the interior of the vehicle by means of an electromagnetic radiator, receiving reflected electromagnetic waves by means of a sensor, detecting a living object on the seat from the received reflected electromagnetic waves by means of a detection device, determining a volume of the detected object from the received reflected electromagnetic waves by means of the detection device, determining a weight characteristic of the detected object on the basis of the determined volume of the object by means of the detection device, outputting a detection signal representing the weight characteristic by way of the detection device, and actuating a safety system to make the interior safe in accordance with the detection signal.
