    摘要: A circuit switching system for interconnecting end point systems, such as packet switches, compressed voice concentrators, or data multiplexers, by allowing multiple logical links on each logical channel. The circuit switching system is connected to the end point system by a number of communication facilities with each facility having a plurality of logical channels. For packet switches, the circuit switching system is responsive to a first request to establish a first logical link on a logical channel to a packet switch and is responsive to a second request for another logical link to that packet switch to establish a second logical link on the same logical channel. The circuit switching system is responsive to a third request for establishing a logical link to another packet switch on the same logical channel for denying this request and for negotiating another logical channel.

    摘要: In a telecommunication switching system, an apparatus for automatically converting ISDN codeset and codepoint protocol in messages transmitted to the telecommunication switching system from a plurality of other telecommunication switching systems each using a diffrent ISDN codeset and codepoint protcol than the telecommunication switching system to identify the same data information. All telecommunication switching systems are interconnected by data channels. Further, the apparatus is responsive to another ISDN message generated by the telecommunications switching system for transmission to another one of the plurality of telecommunication switching systems to convert the codeset and codepoint protocol of the other message to the codepoint and codeset protocol of the other one of the plurality of telecommunication switching systems. The conversions are performed by using sets of conversion tables each identified with an ISDN data channel, and the identity of the data channel is used to select which set of tables is to be used to convert a codeset and codepoint protocol.

    摘要: A coffee maker for use in a vehicle such as a commercial aircraft. The coffee make accepts a sealed can of ground coffee. The can is pierced from the side by a pair of can-piercing spikes by actuating the can against the spikes. The can is drawn by a hydraulically operated cylinder mechanism powered by the water pressure of the aircraft's potable water supply. Hot water is injected into the can through a passage within at least one of the spikes and the hot water is circulated within the can thereby brewing the coffee. Brewed coffee exits the can along the sides of one or both of the spikes and is channeled down into a reservoir located below the can. The brewed coffee may be filtered before and/or after the flowing into the reservoir. A desired volume of coffee may then be drawn from the reservoir.

    摘要: A combined AM/FM/cellular telephone antenna system comprises a coaxial cable with an upper portion of the inner conductor of the coaxial cable and an adjacent section of the coaxial cable together forming a cellular telephone dipole antenna. The coaxial cable forms a transmission line connecting the cellular dipole antenna to cellular telephone equipment. The outer conductor of a portion of the coaxial cable below the cellular dipole antenna serves as the AM/FM antenna. The combined antenna is encaged in a fiberglass housing and mounted on a metallic base having an upper shell and a lower shell. The upper shell is electrically connected to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable forming the antenna and the lower shell is connected to a ground plane. A coaxial cable having a center conductor connected to the upper shell and an outer conductor connected to the lower shield provides connection to AM/FM receiver equipment. Another coaxial cable having a center conductor connected to the center conductor of the antenna and an outer conductor connected to the lower shell provides connection to cellular telephone apparatus. A dielectric between the upper and lower shells provides a capacitance with low impedance in the cellular telephone frequency range and a high impedance in the AM/FM frequency range.

    摘要: A beverage water heating supply system. A tank stores water while heaters heat the water. The heated water is distributed through a manifold assembly, which has a multiplicity of components, to a coffee brewer water and a hot water spigot which are controlled by independent solenoid valves. The water is filtered before entering the tank and is filtered a second time before leaving the tank to enter the manifold assembly. The tank employs a combination temperature sensing and water level detection circuit probe to prevent over heating and heating when the tank is not full. The manifold assembly includes a pressure release valve, a blowout port backup pressure release valve, an automatic vent valve, a brewer water pickup, a lower hot water pick up, and a pressure compensating flow control for the brewer water. The manifold is quickly connected to and disconnected from the tank with a bayonet type connection without removing any of the connections to the manifold. A lock and release lever is provided for locking the manifold to the tank. Upon removal of the manifold from the tank, a large opening is available for removing the filter from the tank and cleaning the inside of the tank.
