摘要： In a display or recording device such as cathode ray tube or ink jet recording apparatus, the characters or indicia to be displayed or recorded are resolved into a plurality of strokes representative of X and Y components of the X-Y coordinate system to electrically store them in a memory. Then, the memory is interrogated to read out the information stored therein, and in accordance with the read-out information, control signals are generated to control the horizontal and vertical deflection electrodes to synthesize one stroke with another stroke for display or record of the characters or indicia. The strokes are classified into linear segments and arc segments. The arc segments which represent the curved portions of the characters are quantized into a plurality of steps and are formed by one of eight quadrant strokes by employing X and Y up-down counters. After the counters are set to an initial value representing the starting point of the arc segment, the X and Y counters are incremented in a plurality of steps each having values of 0,1, or 2 in either the up or down direction.

摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus comprises a counter or timer for timing the period during which printing does not take place even though a printing control device is supplied with electric power; a flip-flop circuit actuated by a set signal delivered from said counter upon completion of its counting cycle; an AND gate supplied with an output from said flip-flop circuit when it is set and being further supplied with printing instruction signals; and a pump driving circuit supplied with an output from said AND gate through a differentiation circuit so as to drive said pump for preliminary ejection of ink through a nozzle for a short time, thereby quickly effecting preliminary ejection of ink upon receipt of the printing instructions. The preliminary ejection is only carried out when printing has not taken place during a period of time corresponding to the timing period of the counter or timer.

摘要： Tracing signals are applied to control the vertical and horizontal deflecting electrodes for a display or recording device to reproduce two-dimentional characters or indicia. In order to generate such tracing signals, the arrangement is provided with a memory which stores the programs which comprise two kinds of information, one being for setting the counters and the other being for counting input pulses up or down by the counters connected to the memory. The stepwise output of each of the counters is converted by the digital-to-analog converters into analog quantities to generate tracing or control voltages to be applied to the deflecting electrodes of the display or recording device.

摘要： Digits of numerical information, i.e. the calculation results obtained by an arithmetic operation device, are stored successively into a memory device. At the completion of the arithmetic operation, the most or least significant digit of the numerical information is shifted to the least significant digit position of the memory device. When required, the digits are successively read out from the least significant digit position in response to shift instruction signals supplied to the memory device, and then displayed successively at an indicating device, one at a time. An indication-stop signal is generated upon completion of the read out operation of the numerical information, instructing the indicating device to cease its onedigit indication.

摘要： An ink jet type printing device is adapted to jet ink droplets from a nozzle to print a character, pattern etc. on a recording medium. The device includes a high tension generator connected to the nozzle to supply electric charges to an ink to be jetted and a heat sensitive element arranged in the neighborhood of the nozzle to detect the temperature change of ink which causes the resistance of the heat sensitive element to be varied to permit an output voltage of the high tension generator to be variably controlled, thereby making the size of the ink droplets uniform for accurate printing.
