Abstract: A system for identifying a failed shear pin of a ground-engaging system of an agricultural implement may include a ground-engaging system having an attachment structure coupled to a frame of an agricultural implement, a ground-engaging tool pivotably coupled to the attachment structure at a pivot joint, and a shear pin at least partially extending through the attachment structure and the ground-engaging tool to prevent pivoting of the ground-engaging tool about the pivot joint. The system may further include an operator notification member provided in association with the ground-engaging system and movable between a non-triggered position and a triggered position. Additionally, the system may include a linkage that, upon failure of the shear pin, allows the operator notification member to be moved from the non-triggered position to the triggered position.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method for automatically leveling an agricultural implement being towed by a work vehicle includes receiving data associated with a field profile of a forward portion of a field positioned in front of the work vehicle relative to a direction of travel of the work vehicle, and identifying an inclined surface within the forward portion of the field that the work vehicle will encounter as the work vehicle tows the agricultural implement across the field based at least in part on the data. The method also includes determining one or more control actions to maintain an inclination angle of the agricultural implement within a predetermined angular inclination range based at least in part on the identification of the inclined surface, and executing the one or more control actions as at least one of the work vehicle or the agricultural implement travels across the inclined surface.

Abstract: An agricultural implement includes a computing system is configured to identify a plurality of residue pieces present within the portion of the field based on the image data generated by the imaging device. Abstract: A system for determining residue coverage of a field includes a LiDAR sensor configured to emit light-based output signals for reflection off of a field surface of a portion of a field and detect reflections of the light-based output signals as return signals. Furthermore, the system includes a soil moisture sensor configured to generate soil moisture sensor data indicative of a soil moisture content of the portion of the field. Additionally, a computing system is configured to receive LiDAR sensor data associated with the return signals detected by the LiDAR sensor. Moreover, the computing system is configured to determine a soil moisture value for the portion of the field based on the soil moisture sensor data. In addition, the computing system is configured to determine a residue coverage value of the portion of the field based on the determined soil moisture value and the LiDAR sensor data.
