摘要: A technology for improving molding properties while minimizing curling after molding in a battery packaging material comprising a laminate that is provided with a barrier layer, a heat-sealable resin layer positioned on one surface side of the barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on the other surface side of the barrier layer. This battery packaging material is configured from at least a laminate provided with a barrier layer, a heat-sealable resin layer positioned on one surface side of the barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on the other surface side of the barrier layer. The birefringence of the polyester film is in the range of 0.016-0.056.

摘要: A battery packaging material of a first aspect identifiable from the outside has exceptional moldability, insulating properties, and reduced external appearance defects and seal defects. A battery packaging material of the second aspect identifiable has post-molding concealment and adhesion properties, exceptional electrolyte resistance and surface insulating properties. The battery packaging material of the first aspect includes a laminate of at least a base material, adhesive, metal and sealant layers sequentially laminated, at least one of the base material and adhesive layers includes a dye. The battery packaging material of the second aspect includes a laminate of at least a decorative, base material, metal and sealant layers sequentially laminated; the decorative layer has at least a first and second decorative layers from the base material layer side. The decorative layer includes coloring and matting agents. The resin ratio is at least 60% by mass for the first and second decorative layers.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a film-like battery packaging material in which a coating layer, which can be cured in a short time and exhibits superior chemical resistance, is provided to a substrate layer surface. In the battery packaging material, which comprises a laminate body that includes at least a coating layer, a substrate layer, an adhesive layer, a barrier layer, and a sealant layer, in that order, the use of a resin composition containing a heat-curable resin and a curing accelerator as the coating layer enables the formation of a coating layer that can be cured in a short time and contributes to electrolyte liquid, etc., resistance.

The packaging material for a battery is characterized by including a laminate of at least a base material layer, an adhesive layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer, laminated in that order, the metal layer being aluminum foil having 0.2% proof stress of 55-140 N/mm2 when subjected to tensile testing in a parallel direction to the rolling direction, and the ratio of thickness of the base material layer and the metal layer (base material layer thickness:metal layer thickness) being within the range 1:1 to 1:3.

摘要: A battery includes a battery element, a housing body, and a valve device. The housing body is constituted by at least one laminate and includes an interior space in which the battery element is housed, a first housing portion that covers the interior space from a first side, and a second housing portion that covers the interior space from a second side. The valve device is attached to the housing body and can make interior space of housing body be in communication with an external space. A joined edge portion is formed in housing body as a result of the first and second housing portion being fused along respective peripheral edge portions. The valve device is sandwiched between the first and second housing portion in the joined edge portion, and an inner end of the valve device protrudes from an inner edge of joined edge portion toward the interior space.

摘要: A packaging material for electrochemical cells, which has insulating properties sufficient for preventing a short circuit, while exhibiting excellent electrolyte solution resistance and water vapor barrier properties. A packaging material for electrochemical cells is obtained by sequentially laminating a metal layer, an adhesive resin layer and a thermally adhesive resin layer in this order, wherein: a base coating layer is provided between the metal layer and the adhesive resin layer; and the base coating layer contains at least a zirconium oxide (A) having an average particle diameter within the range of from 1 nm to 500 nm (inclusive), one or more phosphorus-containing compounds (B) selected from the group of phosphorus compounds having 4 or more phosphonic groups in each molecule, and an acid-modified polyolefin resin (C).

摘要: A resin composition can impart high insulating properties, sealing properties, and moldability to a battery packaging material. A resin composition minimizes cracks when used in the sealant layer of a battery packaging material and a heat seal section of the material is bent, and can impart high insulating properties. A resin composition for use in the sealant layer of a battery packaging material contains: at least one of a propylene-ethylene random copolymer having a melting point of 156° C. or more and an ethylene content of 5 mass % or less and a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having a melting point of 158° C. or more and an ethylene content of 7 mass % or less; and a polyolefin elastomer having a melting point of 135° C. or more. A resin composition for the sealing layer of a battery packaging material contains a polyolefin resin having an isotactic fraction of 99% or less.
