    Abstract: An image enhancement method includes the following steps. Separating an original image signal into a high frequency image signal and a low frequency image signal by performing a wavelet transform through a first transformation circuit. Separating the high frequency image signal into a high frequency separation signal and a high-intermediate frequency separation signal by performing the wavelet transform through a second transformation circuit. Separating the low frequency image signal into a low-intermediate frequency separation signal and a low frequency separation signal by performing the wavelet transform. Enhancing high frequency separation signal to generate an enhanced high frequency separation signal configured to enhance the sharpness of an image. Through a inverse transformation circuit, integrating the enhanced high frequency separation signal, the high frequency separation signal, the low-intermediate frequency separation signal, and the low frequency separation signal into an enhanced image signal by performing the inverse wavelet transform.

    Abstract: A projection display apparatus includes a motion deblurring circuit, an image processing circuit, a color managing circuit, an image projection display device and a multi-axis shifting device. The motion deblurring circuit receives an input video signal with the first resolution and processes it to reduce a motion blur. The image processing circuit receives the input video signal processed by the motion deblurring circuit, and converts it into a plurality of the output video signals with the second resolution. The color managing circuit receives the output video signals with the second resolution, separates the color of the output video signals, and outputs it. The projection device including a digital micro display component has a native resolution with a second resolution, and displays the output video signals. The multi-axis shifting device shifts the output video signals outputted from the image projection display device onto a projection screen with a control timing signal.

    Abstract: A projection system includes a projector, an uncalibrated DDL output unit, a light detection device, a characteristic curve computation unit, a calibration unit and a calibrated DDL output unit. The uncalibrated DDL output unit is used for driving the projector to project a frame to an area of a projected object. The light detection device is used for detecting brightness values of the area. The characteristic curve computation unit is used for obtaining a characteristic curve based on the uncalibrated DDLs and the detected brightness values. The calibration unit is used for executing a calibration process according to the characteristic curve and GSDF, so as to map each of the uncalibrated DDLs to a calibrated DDL. The calibrated DDL output unit is used for driving the projector to project another frame to the area of the projected object.
