Abstract:
An interleave read address generator of an interleaver for use in a CDMA mobile communication terminal. The interleave read address generator includes a base-18 counter for counting a clock input on a base 18, to generate column address bits, a base-32 counter being enabled in response to a carry output from base-18 counter, for counting the clock input on a base 32 to generate row address bits, and a multiplexer for changing a position of output bits of base-32 counter according to data rate selection signals, to variably generate the row address bits.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a set protection circuit for when a diode short-circuit defect occurs in a power factor correction circuit of a critical conduction mode. In a conventional power factor correction circuit, an excessive amount of current flows to a switch if a diode is short-circuited so that the switch is damaged. In order to prevent damage to the switch, the present invention provides a method for stopping turn-on of the switch when a switch current is excessive.
Abstract:
An integrated steering gear and frame structure is designed to modularize a sub-frame as a suspension system and a steering gear as a steering system. Thus, a separate assembly process for the sub-frame and the steering gear is not required, so that a production process can be simplified and an assembly capability can be improved.

Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for protecting impact to a rack bar of a power steering gearbox comprising an oil pressure cylinder, to which oil which has passed through an oil pressure pump and a rotary valve is supplied through a left port or right port, a rack bar disposed in the oil pressure cylinder and horizontally reciprocating, a piston fixed at the middle of the rack bar, a first lack bush and a second lack bush disposed at both ends of the cylinder, in which the piston moves, to close the cylinder, and bypass holes with a downward convex shape disposed at both ends of the cylinder adjacent to the first and second rack bushes, in which a part of oil pressure is released immediately before a piston of the rack bar moving by the power of oil pressure reaches a rack bush, whereby impact to the cylinder or noise is not generated.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a power factor correction circuit for varying an output voltage according to an input voltage, and an output voltage control method thereof. A reference voltage is generated corresponding to a voltage at an output terminal of a boost circuit at a predetermined time by using the status in which the voltage at the output terminal thereof has information on an input AC voltage until the predetermined time after the input AC voltage is applied in the boost circuit. The output voltage is controlled to be generated according to the reference voltage. Therefore, the output voltage is generated corresponding to the input AC voltage without any additional devices, and reduces power loss.

Abstract:
A sample holder and auxiliary apparatus are provided to position and hold a sample in the sample holder. A method of positioning and holding a sample in the sample holder is also provided. The sample holder preferably includes a holder body having a sample holding portion arranged therein. An opening in the sample holding portion is configured to receive a sample therein. An elastic member is configured to supply a holding force to hold the sample in the opening. The auxiliary apparatus preferably includes one or more holder supports configured to support a sample holder. The auxiliary apparatus is configured to receive the sample holder and force a sample holding member of the sample holder into a rearward position to permit the sample holder to receive a sample into an opening thereof.
