The system is configured such that the magnetic field and the electric current in the fluid are substantially orthogonal. Each time the AC electric current reverses polarity, the magnetic field and the electric current also each change polarity to force fluid out of the pump in the same direction during both the positive and negative going portions of the AC electric current cycle.
