    摘要: An icemaker for an ice supply system for preventing water from overflowing from the ice tray by vibration and/or shaking of the surrounding structure includes an icemaker, a container provided at a lower part of the icemaker and an ice chute for supplying the ice stored in the ice container. An ejector in the ice tray of the icemaker and a dropper device having an inclined upper surface at a side of the open top of the ice tray are provided for dropping the ice discharged upwardly by the ejector. The dropper has no gap or slot through which the ejector passes to prevent water overflow through the dropper. An overflow prevention device is provided at another side of the open top of the ice tray for preventing water filled in the ice tray from overflowing.

The dispenser of the icemaker in the refrigerator includes an ice chute being a passage through which the ice produced from the icemaker is discharged; and a container supporter provided at an outer case and disposed to be perpendicular to an outer surface of the outer case when the ice is discharged outside through the ice chute, the contain supporter allowing a container seated thereon to receive the ice discharged from the ice chute. The ice chute is closed and not exposed outside when the ice-discharging process is finished, and the container supporter is not exposed to the outer surface of the outer case.

    摘要: Disclosed is an ice supply system provided at a door and freezer in a refrigerator. The ice supply system of the refrigerator of the present invention includes an icemaker, a container, a crusher and an ice discharger. The icemaker produces the ice by using cool air of the freezer and drops the ice to a lower part of thereof. The container is provided at a lower part of the icemaker, enabling to be inserted into and withdrawn from the door. In this case, the container includes an open top, a first opening provided at a side thereof, a transfer device rotating and transferring the ice to the first opening, and an outlet for discharging the ice. The crusher crushes the ice transferred by the transfer device and the ice discharger is provided for discharging the ice to an ice chute provided at the door by controlling an opening and closing amount of the outlet.

In the present invention, a communication pad 60 is installed in one of the doors 51 and 53 for opening and closing storage spaces formed in a refrigerator main body 50. The communication pad 60 is detachably installed in a seating; space 58 of the door 53. While an upper end of the communication pad 60 is seated in the seating space 58 by an upper clamp 61, a lower end of the communication pad 60 is seated in the seating space 58 by a lower clamp 61′. The upper clamp 61 and the lower clamp 61′ are installed in the seating space 58 through hinge assemblies 65. Here, the hinge assemblies 65 are configured so that the upper and lower clamps 61 and 61′ rotate only by a force of a predetermined value or higher. According to the present invention constructed as above, it is possible to get advantages in that the communication pad 60 is securely mounted to and easily dismounted from the door 53.
