The dissipation layer has a thermal conductivity in a horizontal direction higher than that in a vertical direction and thus the heat may rapidly be transmitted to a first container. As a result, this may suppress the increment of temperatures in a backlight assembly, increase the luminance of the lamp unit, and improve a display quality of a liquid crystal display device.
